The build quality is made out of good plastic materials. The foam feels good, and the buttons and knobs feel exceptional. This has a mount connected to it to attach it to the included desk stand or boom arm. The screw mount is your standard 3/8’’ and 5/8’’ thread screw for microphone stands. This mic features a headphone jack to monitor audio, a gain knob to adjust mic volume, and a quick tap to mute. You can use this as a stand-alone USB mic or use an XLR interface for better audio quality. There are RGB effect modes to toggle to match your setup. There is no latency when monitoring your audio. But keep in mind that the only volume this effects is your voice going into the mic, so no other audio is affected going through your computer. The pickup pattern for this mic is cardioid, so the mic lessens the sounds around it, mostly picking up from the front capsule. This microphone is perfect for beginners, as you can plug and play with a USB connection or improve the sound quality with XLR input down the line when you want to upgrade. I love the gamer look of this mic and build. Pros: Simple to use plug-and-play microphone. Cool RGB colors that are customizable. Volume and gain knobs. Sound quality vs. budget price. Cons: We only have a black mount option, so a white or pink color will not completely match. I’m an audio engineer by hobby, I have tried dozens of professional microphones and this microphone alongside with the Samson Q2U are by far the best microphones you can buy on a budget but keep up with microphones costing hundreds of dollars more. Expect a wonderful sound capture and detailed bass. The design is simply elegant with an incredibly aesthetic color scheme and even modern leg rgb lighting. It has a volume control knob for the gain of the microphone which is incredibly helpful as some microphones have a fixed pickup volume which cannot be adjusted. With this microphone you can even connect it to an iPhone and adjust the Mic gain! The durability seemed great not the best but certainly very good for the price being under a $100. Ultimately I did have to return it due to finding something a lot more expensive but better suited for my use case scenario but I would highly recommend this microphone to everyone. Just remember it is a dynamic microphone meaning that you have to have it close to your mouth for best sound quality, remember that and you’ll be golden. ... show more
