Please set the mixer as the default input and output device on the computer. Then turn on the MIC MONITOR button and adjust the Mic slider to monitor the mic audio through headphones or speakers. (MIC MONITOR button in white means it is on) Are the RGB and mute button of the microphone available when using it with the mixer? No. All the function keys of the mic including the RGB key and mute button, are not available when it is connected to a mixer via XLR only. You can control the mic on mixer or audio interface when connected via XLR. How do I use the Custom buttons? The Custom buttons have functions for recording and playback. Excellent entry level mixer and mic for the price. The mixer was easy to connect to my PC using the USB type C to USB type A cable that's included. This bundle also included the XLR cable for the mic which made that plug and play as well. Being PC compatible is obvious but the ability to also have the option to have my phone utilize the mic is a good (albeit rarely used) feature. The mixer itself is easy to use, the sliders and button have a good feel to them for something that's made of plastic. I purchased the Fifine branded mic stand separately and that along with the mixer and mic make this a great addition to my PC setup. ... show more

It is AMAZING! I bought it on sale for $85! And let me tell you... It was the best thing ever! It is super simple to use, and of amazing quality in both the parts it is made of and the sound quality itself. The connectivity is super simple and easy. I mean, how could you get this good of a microphone for only $85 (on sale) or $100 (without sale)? What an amazing price! The volume control is super simple and effective! Value for money: I was looking for a new mic for my PC gaming setup and saw this bundle on sale. I've never used a mixer for my PC gaming setup and was very pleased with what the Fifine SC3 Mixer offered. I like that I can control the volume for my headphones/earbuds, mic, and desktop speakers all from the mixer. The voice changer effects are also fun addition. The mixer is made up of mostly plastic parts but that's to be expected considering the price. The mic quality is surprising well - definitely an upgrade from my HyperX mic. Functionality: Overall, the functionality is great on the mixer and the mic. I do have an issue with the mixer sporadically just shutting off. There were many times while I'm playing games where I completely lose sound and can't use the mic because the mixer shut off and then rebooted itself. I'm not entirely sure why this is happening so I'm docking off 1 star for now while I deal with exchanging it for a replacement one from Amazon. If the problem persists then I might just return the entire purchase. I hope that's not that case considering I do like the setup for the price I paid, but maybe this is a classic case of "you get what you paid for." ... show more

You can adjust how much the mic picks up on your voice which is really good because I can raise it all the way up if i dont want to be close to the mic when gaming and the the robot input i dont like at all or the girl voice changer either but the ones I use for sure is the elder and the baby voice which are the best. Its Definitely worth the price and everything feels like high quality especially the base of the mic. ... show more

i feel kinda duped by this setup, yeah the XLR is nice, but why pair a mic that can't use phantom power with a mixer that has it? i really don't like having a setup where if someone hits that button it can smoke the mic. the mic itself sounds fantastic, i like that the mixer is also a soundcard, but that's where that ends. the mixer mic amp is way overkill for the mic, you have to keep the volume pretty low so you don't distort. the programable buttons don't play over mic input, only audio out, so if you use the mixer as a primary card, they are pretty useless. voice changers pretty fun for like 2 mins ... show more
