I bought this to use as a power source for my sleep therapy equipment in case of power outtages. Thankfully I haven't had to use it yet. But I did test it out for a few minutes and it absolutely powered my device the way it was intended to. So it does work for sleep therapy equipment (cpap)

    • Test results for powering a ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV
This unit should be a good solution for powering my APAP machine during camping trips! The optional 24VDC power plug works perfectly on the referenced ResMed AirCurve 10 and similar devices. Test results with standard unheated tubing and humidifier off indicate that it will last for over 32 hours (4 nights) with 10% still "in the tank". Results with the heated tubing option and humidifier on are not as impressive. Expect maybe 16 hours with the heating tubing and humidifier off, 6 1/2 hours with unheated tubing and humidifier on, and 4 1/2 hours with heated tubing and humidifier on. The Power Station is very compact, well designed, and solidly built with a convenient carry handle. The controls and display are excellent and let you know exactly how much charge is left (%) and how much power (Watts) the unit is supplying or being supplied if re-charging. In addition to the 24VDC cigarette-lighter-style outlet socket for APAP/CPAP devices, the Power Station has a 2-prong and a 3-prong 110VAC outlet, 3 5VDC USB outlets, and several other DC inputs/outputs for re-charging and other functions.     • Decent product with a few issues
I used it for a recent camping trip to power up my 24v CPAP machine. I bought a car style plug which can fit into this and my cpap DC socket, and it worked great overall. Should easily last 2 nights on a charge. One negative thing is that I bought a air pump to fill my air mattress. The pump pulls 8.5Amps @12volts, which on paper this battery should be able to handle. Well it doesn’t, it just shuts down every time. I had to use my car to power the pump. So the specs are probably not as advertised. Also it constantly powers off (times out) if a load is not connected, so it’s kinda irritating to turn it on, then punch the DC12v button, workable but could be improved. I bought this to power my CPAP while camping. It did a great job even with the humidifier running. An unexpected bonus was the extremely versatile power ports that support USB, DC outputs, AC outputs and cigarette lighter outputs. So I can charge phones, run laptops, charge my drone, etc. While this thing has a 330 watt normal load with 380 watt maximum load, you have to be realistic about what you power. However, I was surprised at how many things I can use it for. I went ahead and got the 100 watt solar panel to make this a more sustained power source while camping. The idea was to use this on a car camping road trip - charge it up while driving during the day, then use it at night to run a small car cooler / ice chest refrigerator. Come to find out it has an 19v *minimum* for charging... which means that it cannot be charged from any normal 12v car cigarette lighter port. I discovered this too late - but the wrapper even mentioned to use "a 24v car if needed". Pretty sure most regular cars are just 12v. I also have a 100w solar panel, so I was able to get some charge into it. Although one charge session it went from 10% to 100% in half an hour, which is physically impossible. The other BIG note if you are using this for car refrigerators - it has a 60 second auto-off feature. This seems logical for most applications. But for a car refrigerator, this is what happens: Plug the fridge into the battery and the fridge kicks in, cooling down. Fridge is done cooling, it turns off. Battery waits 60 seconds, then the battery also turns off. Fridge never gets power again, and slowly heats up even past the thermostat's cooling set point. If you plug it in overnight and expect it to work, it won't. So, the main things I wanted it for (charging up in the car to support a small fridge overnight) all totally failed to meet expectations. ... show more

I originally bought this unit to be used during my night-time fishing excursions; however, I experience many power outages where I live in the country. Recently I used this unit to power my Internet connection, lamp, computer. My power was out for over 5 hours and I still had over 80% power remaining.
