I bought this bumper because my old bumper was a tetanus shot waiting to happen. I live in the rust belt, and the stock bumper had rusted all of the way through. It was to the point where the license plate light had nothing to be mounted to. This bumper is a great deal, considering you get a new bumper for less than it would cost to pull a used factory bumper from the junk yard. Sure, it won't look stock but it still looks great, and way better than a rusty hole. The fit is decent. It doesn't wrap around the truck as tightly as the stock bumper did, but it doesn't look strange either. This may allow more snow/salty slush to accumulate on the inside of the bumper, but it's also much easier to spray out the inside of the bumper as compared to the factory bumper. Standing at the side of the tailgate I can easily aim the car wash sprayer behind the bumper to rinse it out. I was very impressed by how much stuff the bumper comes with. It comes with new license plate light sockets, license plate light bulbs, hoods/lenses for the license plate lights, plastic license plate mounts, and new screws for the license plate. I honestly didn't expect to get new sockets and all that, but I'm glad I did, because the old ones were all corroded. The one thing that you need that doesn't come with the bumper are the mounting brackets. For a 98 Ranger/B-series the part is Fey 97200 Direct Fit Mounting Kit for Fey DiamondStep & SureStep Universal Bumpers (Bumper sold separately). Since this is a universal bumper, they can't bundle the mounts with the bumper. You have to get the right mounting brackets for your particular vehicle.

This bumper fit my 2009 ford ranger, even though it only lists up to 04, I believe it will fit up to 2011 models, just make sure you get the kit to install it, sold separately.

I bought this for a 2000 Isuzu Hombre (same as the Chevy S-10) after a recent rear-end collision left the old bumper a mess. Used bumpers were going to cost $125 or more, plus freight, in usable but far from perfect condition. I chose this one based on the reviews, and ordered the 97200 mounting kit with it. It's a good quality steel bumper, and I have no hesitation about installing a ball hitch on it for pulling a light trailer. The paint was flawless, and the shop that installed it after repairing the frame and bracket damage were completely positive about it. The hardware is all coated, rust-resistant stuff, and it even included the license plate light kit. I'm including a photo so owners of similar Hombre and S-10 pickups can see what it looks like. (Yes, my truck is no beauty queen, but it runs well enough.)

Installed on a 02 ford ranger. I'm happy with this product. It however does need slight modification to fit. I had to drill one hole that did not match up on the adaptor bracket. (Sold separately) Nothing major though. License plate lights need to be spliced into factory harness. No complaints as it was half the price of a factory style replacement. Looks nice.

The bumper itself looks good, and if you’re willing to put some work into drilling new holes and using the factory mounting brackets, it can look good on your truck. (As well as saving you the cost of their “required” aftermarket brackets.) Using the existing mounting holes, the bumper stuck out too far rearward from the body of my truck, but with some drilling and grinding, it fits great.

I recieved the bumper quickly, and it was a lot cheaper than an OEM. The bumper is all metal construction, all the welds on mine are uniform and clean, its built very well. Overall a freind and I took about 2 hours to install it. I did not purchase the mounting kit so it took longer than expected to improvise it. Im very happyy with this bumper westin did a great job at delivering a high quality bumper at a fraction of the originals price. I would say its actually an upgrade since its a lot sturdier. I would definitely recommend this bumper.

I installed this on a 94 S10. Along with the correct frame mount kit. Installation was very easy less than 1 hour with impact gun. Very good quality at its price point. Been on my little pick up for about 6 months and still looks new. Would recommend to friends with out hesitation.

Bumper was a perfect replacement for my son's 98 GMC Sonoma. The original bumper was rusted and bent and after being hit by a woman who ran a stop sign, needed to be completely replaced. The factory bolts on the top and bottom came out allowing the old bumper to be removed. I took a piece of the box and cut a template to mark the mounting holes on the bumper flange and then transfer to the factory arms that were still attached to the frame. We drilled the holes and were able to reuse the original hardened bolts to attach the bumper. The bumper came with two new licence plate lights including the bulbs which only needed spliced to the existing lights and the wires tucked away. The bumper is now the most solid and best looking part of the entire truck.
