These are VERY VERY SHEER. like GOSSAMER. If you have a dark wrapping paper to accent the ribbons, they will look very elegant and I highly recommend. However, if you're trying to make normal bows and things for white/red Christmas paper, I don't think this will make enough of an impact unless you're making a combo with a darker or more substantial ribbon. For years I’ve been using an endless supply of curling ribbon and I’m sick of it. This stuff is so pretty and sparkly all you have to do is tie a bow and the package looks great. These colors are perfect for Christmas, but also for flowery spring packages. Easy to use and pretty.

This package of three different colored ribbons is excellent to have before the holiday season. The yellow and green are both tasteful shades of color. The white is delicate and a little shimmery. This is your basic sheer ribbon. It came in a set of three colors…gold, light green and white. Each roll is supposed to be 150 yards in length. The roll of gold ribbon was only half full, however. It much more narrow than I expected, but that’s my fault for not paying attention to the description. It is a lot of ribbon for the price and will be useful for a lot of craft and gift wrapping projects. It will even be pretty for tying bows in my granddaughters hair. ... show more
