They help to protect you from noise with an ANSI-rated noise reduction rating (NRR) of 25 dB while you work all while listening to your favorite tunes with excellent sound quality. They can even enable you to make phone calls via Bluetooth®. You don't have to do without the function of earplugs: loud ambient noise outside the safe sound level of 79 dB (corresponds to EU standard EN352) is blocked. Still want to know what's going on around you? Conversation mode takes care of that. The innovative technology allows speech and ambient noise to pass through at a safe listening volume – so you can still converse with others at any time without removing your earplugs. After the work is done, the earplugs are simply recharged in the charging case supplied.

These do just as good of a job protecting my hearing as regular ear plugs when doing yard work with gas engine lawn tools. Very pleased. The sound quality is very good as well when doing the yard work. So good that I will also use these when flying. The charge lasts a long time and the charging case will recharge the earbuds several times. I nearly made it all summer before having to recharge. Only minor quibble is that ever so often, the left earbud doesn't connect and I have to power them off and back on but then it works fine. There is no app to control these. Everything is done by touch and tap on the earbud. Works well enough but having an app might be better. The Bluetooth connection on my phone does show remaining battery life for these earbuds so that's good. Nice job Festool! ... show more

    • Good, but not quite Festool good
No real manual. Have to figure it out yourself. Not real user friendly. Have to adjust noice cancellation every time you insert them. I like them, but they are not to Festool standards for other tools, in my opinion.

The Sound counseling is SUB PAR - so back it goes. BUT WAIT this vender want the return and then wants all but $1.94 to stay in thier account as a restocking fee. Call Amazon weeks ago but have heard nothing.

Festool should not stamp its name on these , they are not comfortable at all , also not for active lifestyle, easy to fall off from ears , it’s okay as ear protection , I wouldn’t buy it again.
