Description

From the Manufacturer Festool saw blades are engineered and designed for cutting efficiency, long-life, and superior cutting results. The Fine Tooth saw blade for the Kapex Miter Saw was designed for smooth cross-cutting in veneered plywood, sheet goods, melamine, and hard and soft woods. The Fine Tooth blade incorporates an offset tooth design known as ATB (Alternating Top Bevel), allowing the blade to cut alternately to the left and right, generating a more efficient and cleaner cut in all types of wood. The thin kerfed blade design meets less resistance for more efficient cutting, and produces less material waste. An oversized 30mm arbor enables more secure fastening of the blade to the saw, further reducing vibration for more precise cutting. 80 tooth; 2.5mm kerf; 30mm arbor; -5 deg hook angle; ATB.

  • really good blade. comparable to a chop master blade
These saw blades are great, they work really well with the festool kapex. all of the festool tools that I have seem to be of high quality, and this blade makes really clean cuts on all the projects I have used it for.

  • Buy tenryu
Blades are horribly over priced and the tooth pattern likes to pull itsellf thru looser grained woods like oak and hickory causing alot of unessecary chipout on skinnier prefinished oak baseboard for example had alot of tear out at the top skinny lip of the profile and to me for $170 a blade that is unacceptable i paid less for freud 100 tooth 12 inch full kerf saw blades and as much as tenryu and amana 12" full kerf blades if your a serious wood worker or a pro trim carpenter like myself and not these typical weekend garage project warrior office jockeys get yourself the tenryu iw-26080ab or tenryu mp-26080ab they put these blades to SHAME for $50-$75 less and when you go thru 3-4 blades a month between sharpenings thats a buy 2 get 1 free deal pretty much... ... show more

  • No thanks
Blades seem to pull material into saw. Also excessive tear out on back side of material. Since switching to Tenryu I’ll never go back. It’s surprising to me how many 5 star reviews there are for this blade. I like Festool just not their chop saw blades.
