Description

From the Manufacturer Festool saw blades are engineered and designed for cutting efficiency, long-life, and superior cutting results. The carbide tipped Fine Tooth Cross-Cut Saw blade for the TS 55 Plunge Cut Saw is an excellent blade for smooth cross-cutting in veneered plywood, sheet goods, melamine, and hard and soft woods. This blade incorporates an offset tooth design known as ATB (Alternating Top Bevel), allowing the blade to cut alternately to the left and right, generating a more efficient and cleaner cut in all types of wood. This thin-kerfed blade design meets less resistance, for more efficient cutting, and produces less material waste. Laser cut expansion slots reduce vibration for faster, quieter cutting. An oversized 20mm arbor enables more secure fastening of the blade to the saw, further reducing vibration for more precise cutting.

  • The only blade I’ll cut with on the job site.
Don’t waste your time with other brands. This blade is a little more expensive but well worth the investment. Cuts like butter, precise, no deflection, stays sharp for a long time and no tear out on the Festool Track Saw

  • Don’t mess with the rest, but buy the best.
Festool Blades tend to be pricy but exceeds the quality and performance and longevity of other off brands. I’ve tried them all, but keep going back to Festool blades. Been using Festool for almost 20 years, when they first started importing them in the USA, and RE sharpen them often, getting 5-6 sharpening out of them. My sharpening shop says that the quality of the carbide tips and brazing is excellent allowing many sharpening cycles. My plunge cuts are always crisp and tear free, on veneers and solids, so it makes my fabrication precise and smooth quality, saves time and money. Don’t mess with the rest, but buy the best. ... show more

Expensive but you get what you pay for. We rip lots of hard wood and this blade works great. Will see how long it lasts..... So over a year this blade is still working well even after hitting lots of old nails and going through tons of 2" thick hard wood. Well worth the money.

Its a festool. Need I say more? Some may complain about the price, but this is truly a great blade. Lasts long and makes beautiful and very precise cuts. If you use the rail in conjunction with the splinter guard you almost have a finished surface. It seriously reduces your work time.
