  • Had my doubts but…
Size: 14 Women/13 Men Color: Black Valor Wp
After reading some of the reviews I was a bit hesitant to buy them. But I was very happy with the look and really really happy with how comfortable they are. A little tough to put on at first. But I’m assuming that will get easier over time. I wear a mens sz13 so I’m always scared the shoes are gonna be snug. With these I have room to wiggle my toes. Plus for being boots they are really not heavy at all. I would definitely give these a solid 10 out of 10!! Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a excellent comfort and quality. ... show more

  • Fantastic Boot. Fits right.
Size: 10 Women/9 Men Color: Dark Brown Valor Wp
The build quality and comfort of this boot is excellent. I have had Doc Martens in the past and I was not disappointed. Amd they look even better than they feel.

  • Great boots
Size: 6 Women/5 Men Color: Black Nappa
Always wanted some Doc Martens in the 80’s but was too broke. Thankful to finally get a pair. They are comfortable from the start. They do run BIG so I would advice to size down.

  • Great Boot - See Comment
Size: 12-12.5 Color: Gaucho Crazy Horse
Overall-- Great Boot. This will be a detailed review, because I thought many other reviews were absolutely useless and unhelpful. I am a male, and had contacted the seller prior to ordering, because the title said "Women's Boot" (I understand this is a unisex boot) and I couldn't find healthy answers in the comments/questions sections. I ordered the size "12-12.5" in Gaucho Crazy Horse Brown. The seller informed me that this was indeed listed in MEN'S USA sizes, not women's sizes, so I purchased. Most of my shoe sizes are 12's, because a 12.5 almost doesn't exist. However, in many cases I wear 13 as well. The "12-12.5" listing is perfect, so order your baseline normal male size. The boot is roomy in the toe box, not tight fitting, which is how boots are supposed to fit. The Crazy Horse Leather is beautiful, although much darker than the pictures. I would easily classify this boot as a dark brown boot. For those unaware in the comments section, Crazy Horse Leather is a top of the line, full-grain oil/wax finished leather. This leather will easily scruff and scratch, and over time will develop a distressed look with a beautiful patina. If you don't want any scratches on your boots, don't get the crazy horse leather, unless you are fine buffing them out all the time. However, when they distress, a lighter copper color will emerge, creating an almost two-tone effect. This leather is exceptionally tough, and requires only minimal care with minimal wax. These boots also have a Good-Year Welt, creating an exceptionally durable, hard wearing boot. This welt is found on premium boots, eliminating the need for cheap gluing. This is my first pair of the "Chelsea" boot style, as I had previous only bought Lace-Ups, so the only thing I'm concerned about is the elastic on the sides, but time will tell (although my jeans always cover the elastic on sides anyways, I'm not a roll-up jean guy). For those saying the top of the boot is too narrow to get your foot in: you don't put these on like normal shoes. Angle your foot parallel as you enter, then twist the boot on straight. SUPER EASY. It takes two second to put these Chelsea's on rather than untying and tying lace-ups. As far as break-in, these are pretty much good to go out of the box. I'm getting a little stiffness on the very top of the uppers at my shin, but after a couple days of wear this will disappear. When wearing high socks it is barely noticeable now anyways. These are not dainty, thin & dressy boots. They are more for everyday wear, built wider and more rugged. I recommend. ... show more

  • Warm and comfortable shoes!
Size: 7 Women/6 Men Color: Black Valor Wp
I was looking for a stylish winter boot that would keep my feet warm during the cold Wisconsin winters. These shoes are great! The only reason I gave the shoes a 4/5 is because they can be a pain to put on because the the top of the shoe is quite tight. I always feel like I'm going to rip the loop off when I try to put them on. Once they are on, they fit great and are quite comfortable! ... show more

  • Fit is true to size
Size: 9 Color: Black Patent Lamper
I normally wear size 8.5-9.0 in most shoes, and I got this boot in size 9. The fit is perfect and, in fact, I would not want to go any smaller at all. Product was well packaged, boots in great shape, very shiny! I have not worn them out yet, just around the house, so I can't vouch for durability at this point. But as far as roomy comfort and fashionable is concerned, these boots rock. ... show more

  • Super tight
Size: 6 Women/5 Men Color: Black Nappa
These boots are so cute but we’re unwearable for me. They were so tight across the bridge of my feet and the seams dug into the top of my feet so bad that my feet fell asleep. I returned them yesterday and noticed bruises on both of my feet today from where the boots dug in. I ordered a pair of lace up Docs that will hopefully not give me this issue. ... show more

  • Authentic Docs for great price!
Size: 8 Women/7 Men Color: Black Nappa
The boots I purchased were Chelsea 2976 in Nappa leather (not the brown Crazy Horse, but the Black; such nice and soft leather!) and unisex size men's 7/women's 8/EU 39 (I'm normally a women's US 9/EU 40, but that's what fit best--see notes on sizing below). Considering the price, I was a little skeptical that these were genuinely Dr. Marten's, so I ended up bring them into a store to verify before wearing them--and multiple salespeople, who had worked for the company for 7+ years, said they looked like the real deal to them, which is amazing for the price (I got them when they were $99 online, but $160 in store; may have been a sale...?). Before ordering, I also visited the store to get the right sizing--Dr. Marten's doesn't sell my normal size in the US (EU 40), so I needed help figuring out what to buy. In the end that was either a women's EU 41 or a unisex 39. Dr. Marten's women's sizes are cut more narrow, so if purchasing women's, I needed a longer shoe to give my toes more space (EU 41, which they say is a women's US 9 but on many shoes EU 41 is a US 9.5 or even US 10). Unisex sizes are wider, so I was fine with a shorter length (EU 39). In the end, the only real difference between the women's sizing and men's sizing on the Chelsea boot was at the ankle; for some reason, the women's 41 had more of a gap at the ankle and I worried that might make it rub/blister more, so I went with unisex sizing. It might also depend on the boot, so I'd say go to the store for sizing before purchasing online. Once I got them & verified their authenticity, I got a but of things to help with weatherizing them and breaking them in (Dr. Marten's has a great kit! And, double thick socks). I did get a bad blister wearing them too long & uphill on the first day (and I had to get used to their weight; I don't have many heavier shoes). But, I used Compeed patches for the blister (should have put them on to prevent, but it was fine once they were on) and after a week of wearing them a little bit at a time, they are now super comfortable and I love them! Highly recommend! ... show more
