This instrument played like a dream right out of the box. The hardware and electronics are surprisingly good for the pricepoint. The guitar does stay in tune. I might upgrade the pickups, pots and switch one day. For the moment, they're adequate. I can't say enough about the playability! The carved heel gives almost effortless access to the higher frets. I can suggest a satin finish on the neck- that's about all I'd change. Fingerboard and frets could use some work, but no high frets. It's possible I've watched too many episodes of Scar My Guitar on YouTube (check Shawn's videos out- I learned so much from them) because I did buy some luthier's tools from Temu. But I wouldn't want to ruin this instrument- it's too gorgeous!

This is generally a good guitar. I got mine for $250 plus tax. Pros: The guitar is built very well. The fret work was a lot better than most in this price range. It is not heavy for a les paul type guitar. It weighs in at 7.8 lbs. It is a very. nice looking instrument. Cons: The tuners are terrible. If you want to put decent tuners on there , you will have to drill for the new bushings. The electronics are very cheap. The fretboard inlays are flat white plastic. The poly finish is very thin as they describe.But that also means it can chip easily. I changed the tuners so I found that out the hard way. The neck is thick. If you're looking for a slim taper neck do not buy this guitar. I would say it's even thicker than the 59 neck profile. If you like a thicker neck then this is a plus for you. I went to Guitar Center and looked at some guitars and was not impressed with what I saw.I did not care for the Epiphones either so I tried this one. I put new pickups and new tuners on it and now it's pretty good. If you want a better guitar , you'll need to spend more money. Or you can buy one like this and do the upgrades yourself.

Very pleased and impressed with the fes paul! This is my second purchase of Fesley guitars my first was the blue telecaster style it is an awesome guitar and so is the les paul style! I use these guitars on stage in production shows in Pigeon Forge TN. Fesley guitars get a 9 out of 10 from me! Thanks, Jim

Likes.-Beautiful sound , color, and price. Tone and volume knobs are very responsive and they clean out well. Strap included. Dislikes: some fret sprouts, easily fixable. 1 tuner screws were lose and not gripping the wood (easy fix) Sticker glued to the plastic was hard to tear off by hand. Included cable was tight to fit into amp, but it was included along with pics( nice touch). I used on a gig right out of the box. Stayed in tune. Overall, I would give an 8.5 out of 10.

My church's bands guitar player ordered this so i could also play guitar on some songs as i typically sing. Church wasn't able to get one so he got for us. 1......Well, tuners don't hold, thought it was just the cheap strings but even using high quality strings it doesn't hold tune. 2......Frets are nickel which is fine although was expecting stainless at this level. The problem though was that they are a bit sharp at the edges sticking through the binding in spots. 3.......Neck was warped, brought it to a tech but was told not worth fixing.... 4........Pickups were microphonic although they can be replaced. 5........Finish was lacking and messy, even spots where the finish went over the binding and areas around the backplate where they either missed or scraped when installing. Overall very poor quaity guitar i won't even get into the hardware having either a rust or tarnished area on the bridge. If you want an entry level guitar that plays i wouldn't recommend this, our guitar player returned it. Many other highly rated entry level guitars on amazon. Grote, IYV, Leo Jaymz, the list goes on, just not this one for sure.

Having owned a couple low budget guitars before this one it easily outshines the others in fit/finish, quality components and sound. So much easier to play with great tone. Glad I bought the other guitars so I could really appreciate the craftsmanship that went into this one! Great job Fesley!
