This guitar is great. I've been playing for longer than i can remember anymore. I just wanted a second electric for jamming with my buddy. To leave over his house so i don't have to lug everything every time. But this guitar is awesome. The actin is great. The pickups are good enough. The strings are garbage, change them immediately. But it's a beautiful guitar, that sounds great, plays great, honestly it sounds as good as my good guitar and it looks allot better. I got the matte black LP. Gorgeous guitar. I ended up putting emg h4's in it. Waste of money, but that's how much i like this guitar. But honestly the pickups that were in it were fine for standard or even D. But i play in drop C and the low string sounded muddy. Just the low. The higher strings sounded better than my schecter. Which made me mad that this cheapo guitar had better pickups than my stock schecter. So i bought emg's for my schecter then figured screw it and bought them for both. But it's worth the money. It's a bolt on neck so don't expect it to sound like a $1k or more guitar. But it is comparable to other $500 guitars with a bolt on neck. And infinitely better than all the guitars i had before my schecter and they were name brands. A fender, a low end Ibanez, a Washburn, BC Rich warlock i have them all away when i bought this schecter, and this guitar sounded better than my schecter on the high end. I'm impressed. ... show more

The fit and finish on this guitar are excellent, it punches way above its pay grade. It's a little bit thinner and lighter than you would expect but the neck feels great and the body feels great with all of the comfort curves against your body when you play. This guitar is perfect for the beginner and it makes a really great upgrade guitar. Overall five stars ... show more

What did I like? - Great neck , Nice action (out of the box) , sounds good , packaged nicely and it a really good feeling guitar overall. What I don't like is I ordered a Grey one , which I had to wait for (B.O and it did come in its allotted time) but it looks like a beige color instead. Kind of a strange color for a guitar, but it does play well. Great guitar for the money or even compared to way more expensive guitars. A added bonus was I got it on sale . So I guess I have a beige guitar now :) , Wanted to mention that they did offer to send me a grey one but this one has grown on me ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I'm rating this guitar for being at a $130 price point. I am not comparing it to expectations of a $1000+ guitar. For the $$, this instrument is amazing. I bought it as a project guitar that I could "wrench" on and fix up. But, I was totally surprised at the quality of sound, playability, and workmanship right out of the box. First, it was shipped in a guitar box, with the guitar itself in its own guitar bag (nice bag too). When I pulled the instrument out, it was carefully wrapped in plastic with a set of allen wrenches (For truss rod and bridge adjustments), and whammy bar attached. Plastic covered the rear plates and each pickup as well. The knobs and selected switch was protected with stereo foam. Then I saw an inspection tag hanging from the neck...It had the date of inspection, the name of the inspector, and even the set-up numbers used to adjust the string height. Really amazing for a $130 guitar. The neck was straight and everything looked good on it. The selector switch and knobs have a hardy feel to them as well. The guitar is very light and the neck radius reminded me of a Vintage C shape. It comes with "Nines" on it and was strung correctly. I plugged it in and easily tuned it up, and to my amazement, the guitar was properly intimated!! The string height was very comfortable and playable with no fret buzz at all. The intonation at the 12th fret was spot on. This $130 guitar had been "set-up," inspected, and carefully packaged. I've bought much more expensive guitars from big stores with much less care than this guitar displayed. I was shocked at the playability right out of the box! The pickups sounded good at all positions and were adjusted properly at the right height for even tone and volume. See the video of how it sounds going through an amp simulator and delay. The pictures show everything I am writing about. Is it the quality of a $1000 guitar for $130??? Of course not, however, for a $130, this thing is a gem! ... show more
