  • VINTAGE TONE MEETS MODERN CLARITY: The Wilkinson pickups deliver exceptional tonal versatility for this HSS Strat. In standard mode, enjoy the powerful, overdriven sound of the humbucker. Activate the push-push switch to split the coil, revealing a bright, articulate single-coil tone. • Great quality for the modest price!
Color: Sunburst
I ordered the sunburst stratocaster-style electric guitar. I've been playing for 60 years, and have bought/sold at least two dozen guitars. I read other reviews of this guitar, and for $162 thought I would give it a try. After all, I can always return it to Amazon for a refund. The guitar body is attractive mahogany. The neck/headstock are nicely roasted maple. The fretboard is rosewood. Wilkinson pickups and bridge, coil split on the second tone knob for switch position 1. The guitar came nicely set up. String height, even frets, no buzz or dead frets, intonation set well. Grover G2 tuners. Guitar holds tuning well. I find it hard to imagine this guitar can be built and sold for the price! Sure, it's a China product, yet the build quality is at least equal to or better than the cheaper Fenders and Epiphones and at a much lower price. ... show more

  • Very Fine Guitar!
Color: Sunburst
This is a really nice guitar! All I've done is change the strings and adjust the action. I've got it to where it pretty much plays itself. I've been playing guitar for 47 years now and had never owned a Strat. My first guitar and the one I learned to play on was a Sears Silvertone acoustic, a real cow club! My second guitar was a green and black Dyko electric guitar. Then a friend of mine loaned me his Fender Musicmaster which I used for a couple of years. Then in 1982 or '83 I bought a used, black Vantage Avenger. I like the maple fretboard on the Vantage. That's actually a pretty good guitar, but something happened to the neck. One day while I was recording I had sat it on the computer chair while I adjusted some things on the mixer. I forgot it was there when I stepped a little too far backwards and bumped the chair, sending the guitar tumbling to the hardwood floor. It really hit hard and took a small gouge out of the neck. That was the only guitar I owned for the next twenty years, which is when I bought a Washburn D11N acoustic. A short time later I bought a Cool Copper color Danelectro U2 made in Korea around 1999. Those were my first brand new guitars. During COVID I bought a Firefly Aerosonic. I had to change the strings, adjust the truss rod, hammer in some loose frets, exchange the tuning keys with locking tuners, swap out the original bridge with a roll-o-matic bridge, set the intonation and string height and oil the fretboard. Plays great, but frets out at around the 13th and 14th fret on the A-string. In spite of that, I really like the Firefly. I really wish all of us who were learning to play when I was could have had guitars like the Fesley! I bought it here on Amazon earlier this month when it was on sale for $178.99. That's an incredible deal for what you get! Honestly, I don't know how on earth these smaller guitar companies are doing this; it's a serious instrument! I see no need to swap the pickups, the tuning keys are good and stable and the block on the bottom of the floating bridge is big! The finish is beautiful, and although the action was a bit high, it was playable right out of the box. I hope to get their Telecaster next! ... show more

  • Best Bang For Your Buck Strat I Have Ever Owned
Color: Sunburst
Seriously the best value electric guitar on the market right now. I own all of the Fesley flagship models including the Strat, Tele, LP style, and even their 12 string AcoustaLectric, and every single one has been excellent right out of the box. At this point I am confident it is not luck but genuinely strong quality control. The reviews back that up too. I liked these guitars so much that I bought two Strats as gifts for my daughter and her boyfriend, and both of those arrived flawless as well. Out of all my orders I only had one arrive with a broken G string, which is minor. Since it was a gift and I did not want to restring it before giving it, I exchanged it and the replacement was perfect just like the others. Setup from the factory has been outstanding. All of mine were made July 2025 and required nothing more than tuning before playing. Action was already low and comfortable with no buzzing, no dead spots, and no sharp fret ends. Honestly the fretwork and rolled fretboard edges on these are better than my Fender American Performer, which is kind of insane considering the price difference. I did swap the factory strings for Elixir strings, and that brought out even more shimmer and sparkle, but that was purely preference and not a requirement. The hardware punches well above its price point. The Wilkinson two point tremolo is smooth, stable, and returns to pitch reliably. The Grover tuners hold tuning extremely well even with trem use. The Modern C neck profile is very comfortable for long sessions and the sculpted heel makes upper fret access effortless. You can comfortably reach all 22 frets without fighting the guitar. Tonally this Strat covers a huge range. The HSS configuration with the push push coil split on the bridge pickup lets you jump from thick humbucker tones to classic single coil Strat sounds instantly. Between that and the five way switch I can cover blues, rock, country, funk, and even heavier styles without touching another guitar. I find myself reaching for this more often than my Fender, which says everything. The finish deserves a mention as well. Fesley uses a tough epoxy finish that is more durable than typical poly finishes. On one guitar I noticed a very small finish crack at the nut slot, which is common when a bone nut presses tightly against the finish. It has not spread at all and is purely cosmetic. The included accessories are actually useful too. A nicely padded gig bag, cable, strap, picks, tools, and even a foam sanding block if minor fret dressing is ever needed. That said, none of my Fesley guitars needed any fret work at all. For the price, especially if you get a fresh build like mine, this is a tune it and play it guitar. No upgrades required. No setup headaches. Just play. This Chinese factory is producing genuinely impressive instruments and Fesley is absolutely nailing it right now. I could not recommend these Strats more. Fesley, please make a SG in the Deluxe line next! ... show more
