The privacy is pretty great. I wish there was a way to make it work vertically as well as diagonally so I can watch Netflix at work, but that's a personal problem. The fingerprint scanner is less reliable but works. Honestly though, that should be expected considering the design. The only reason I dropped a star is because the camera protector cannot be used. It sticks really well and is perfect in size. But there is a small hole between the two lenses that is a microphone and this protector covers it making it useless. Also, (and this is a little more niche) the circle underneath the flash is a new thermometer feature, which also needs to be open, like the flash is. Since this is covered completely like the mic, it is also completely useless. I do not know the technology behind that, but I did a few tests and if the protector is on, it will only read that temp regardless of what you scan. As soon as I took it off, I was getting very different results. It may not be important, like the mic, but I would like to use it when I have an opportunity. ... show more

Pro: The screen and camera protector are great quality and look nice. Installation was easy. Con: It renders the fingerprint reader unreliable. It works about 20% of the time. The camera protector makes the temp sensor read the temp of the glass and can't measure objects.

First of all,I'd like to state that the installation process was incredible! The best on the market ,the privacy screen is FANTASTIC,viewing from the side is definitely very private. However, even when increasing the sensitivity on the pixel 8 pro using "Biometrics" (fingerprint login) only works about 30% of the time. The rest of the time when the fingerprint fails to login using the manual PIN method,that works 100% of the time. Why does biometrics fail 70% of the time while manual key entry of PIN works? Beyond me. Deleting the fingerprints and startng over is a bear considering one has to reenter their pw credentials for each site again. The screenprotector and privacy is a good feature but w biometrics not working at 100% capacity that defeats the purpose of buying this product in the first place. It does come with a plastic template that perfectly lays over your screen, your task? Just fit the screenprotector within the frame and you have a perfect installation each time. Would I buy again? More than likely not,now again it must be stated that I adjusted for increased screen sensitivity which on the pixel 8 pro is only a switch on and off (no slider bar to increase it,it's either on or off) for the price of a glass screen protector and privacy it's great, but if you plan on using biometrics (aka fingerprint login) don't even bother with this product. This one star rating is purely for the poor biometric registration functionality and not the rest of the product. If I would rate the privacy screen ,it would be 5,,ease of installation a 5 ,but overall usability a 1 star. I have restarted many times,turned off the biometric sensitivity and reenabled to no improved functionality. ... show more

A common problem with these types of screen covers is their frequency to prevent fingerprints to be read. I have had no problems with this protector. It is good quality and I am impressed in it's durability. Good value for the quantity of glass you get too. The only shortcoming with this protector is the change in how easy it is to read barcodes off your screen at Starbucks or the airport. I sometimes have to wiggle my phone strangely to get a barcode to read OK. But that is normal. ... show more

    • Product Works But Isn't Great
Size: Google Pixel 8 Pro 6.7 INCH
The screen protectors are not particularly scratch resistant and the cover for the camera stops you from using the phone's temperature sensor properly. The protector covers the sensor but has an open hole for the flash but it should be the exact opposite. It makes no sense. The open hole is needed for the temperature sensor but not the flash. The protectors are fine for the privacy part but scratching from a cheap plastic pen without any metal on it is ridiculous. A cheap bic plastic pen shouldn't be able to leave fairly serious scratches from just being in your pocket together which means it's definitely not as hard of glass as it claims. I was able to produce more scratches by just rubbing the pen on it after I noticed scratches the first time confirming what made the scratches. If it can't stand up to some cheap plastic it's never going to survive a rock, metal, or any even slightly rough surface. It makes me feel like a dirty microfiber cloth could scratch these things. ... show more

Easiest screen protector I've installed yet. The instructions were very straightforward, and I was able to get it done in one go without any bubbles. I did change the phone to screen protector mode just so we will be a bit more responsive. The privacy works from the left or right, not so much when viewing from top or bottom of the screen. For those having issues with the fingerprint reader, try turning your finger 90° on the sensor. I was having issues when holding my finger or thumb vertically on the screen, but when I change to horizontally, it's far more accurate. You may need to redo the prints but after doing so and holding my finger horizontally, it works 90+% of the time ... show more
