Shoddy bundle insertion so that wires are not aligned, poor finish on handle, brass quality spotty . . . all this and more can be avoided by just getting this product. Unlike some bargain brands that are really brass coated steel, these are actually all brass. The bristles are not scratchy and I can even use without wearing gloves and tearing up my hands. I purchased this brass brush to use for cleaning my paint brushes. Even though latex paint is water soluble and can be cleaned with soap and water, there is too much residual left on the brush. I use top of line brushes and expect to use them over and over. However, if you want them to last, they need to be thoroughly cleaned after each use. This brush worked great for me. The brass brush is very dense and soft brass brush I have ever used. Bought this brass brush to clean my metal parts, it doesn't scratch into the metal and leaves a high polish. They do exactly what I bought them for. You won't go wrong with purchasing this brass brush. I will be buying more.

Brush has good potential. But construction is flawed. On first use the bristles started coming out with every stroke as if they were just poked in the handle with no adhesive in the hole. The brass is nice and soft for cleaning antique metal work. But this isn't going to last.
