Surprised at how many ppl said table smaller than expected, it tells you the dimensions. It is accurate. It is more narrow than maybe most would like, personally it's plenty for me. Good for apt living or if you have kids. My 3 little ones love it, especially the benches. The box it came in was in shambles, however no damage to table. The box has pieces of board surrounding that say "not for assembly " they are only there to protect the table. Overall if you read what you are buying and like the look it's great, very sturdy, easy to assemble. Everything matched up perfect. Ratchet was a nice touch. I would say it's definitely worth the price, coupon to help pay shipping is great too. Can't expect something this heavy to have free shipping. And it is heavy, especially with flimsy box you will need help carrying it. I'm a pretty fit guy and wouldn't recommend carrying it alone ... show more

This was one of the best furniture assembling experiences I've had. There are only 3 kinds of bolts and they give you a ratchet with the only 2 bits you need. Looks good too and pretty sturdy, the only issues are that the middle piece grain is opposite of the rest of the table, but the espresso color hides it well. The other issue is that there were small points of damage, most negligible, but the middle piece had a 5 inch crack but I covered it up with a brown marker and it looks good now. Overall worth the money compared to other Amazon tables that tend to be flimsy and cheap. ... show more

**UPDATE** The seller was very responsive to my email regarding the damaged part and made the necessary moves to rectify the issue. I received my replacement part within the timeframe promised and now my table is GOOD AS NEW!! Everything fits nicely, the appropriate piece was replaced and the transaction went smoothly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s ALL AROUND!! I LOVE this set. One of the reasons this did not receive five stars is because the extension that accompanied the table was damaged. I have contacted the company, so hopefully, they will get back to me with a workable solution, i.e., replacing the extension portion only. Other than that, the table is excellent! It’s a breeze to put together. It’s very sturdy, has a good weight, and the pieces were well constructed. I love that it’s mixed material (wood and metal). It made assembly effortless. The other reason it did not get five stars is because it says it can fit 4-8 people. You can hold two people on each side to account for the four and three people on each side and one at either end to account for the eight. Unless these are eight children or eight people that do not have hips, eight adults are NOT fitting at this table. On the plus side, if you have just moved out on your own, are starting over, are a minimalist, or prefer not to have a big bulky table, this is perfect. ... show more

For a table that is over $250 (w/shipping), this thing was an absolute disappointment. First, don't be misled by the pictures like I was. Those plates and silverware are smaller to make the table look normal sized (above is a normal smaller dinner plate). I did reference a tape measure for an idea on size, but doesn't translate well. It's about 1/2-2/3 the width of a normal table. Cheap quality on the leg fasteners being tackwelded in only 2 spots and severely crooked meant only 1 of the 4 legs was able to be bolted on to the table top without extensive modifications and swearing. And lastly, and most obvious, is the horrific eyesore that some genius at the factory made the leaf woodgrain 90 degrees off from the ends! If I didn't have company coming in my new house in 2 days, that I needed this table for, it would be going back. ... show more

Updated review: the company reached out to me after seeing the condition of delivery and posting my lower review. The picture that shows the torn up box and peices in my driveway is what I came home to after the delivery guy left it at my house. Once the company found out what happened, they went above and beyond to take care of me and more than made things right. With how they handle this situation, Iwould happily buy from them again. After all, there's only so much they can do on how the delivery people handle the package. That being said, here's my product review: Pros: - the functionality, small size and benches are exactly what I wanted. - the sliding system for the extendable part is quite impressive and one of the best I've seen - the material of the top of the table is surprisingly sturdy. Unlike my wood table, it can handle kids taking silverware on it without making marks; and I can put a little extra muscle into washing it without worrying about scratching it Cons: - The top fake wood part is thin at about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick making the table top vs medal legs and base uneven as far as visual appeal, but that's based on a personal preference. You wouldn't have this issue with the darker colored table top - you have to make adjustments to make the benches not wobble - the color in real life is a few shades lighter than the pic so keep that in mind when choosing color ... show more
