  • Best buy of the year!!
First off, I am not a Mastodon fan and have not listened to Troy Sanders much at all. I bought this Bass simply because it had all the options for total sound control in a damned fine package. paid about $1200.00 and i was kinda hoping i would hate it so i could send it back... lol. But that is not the case, I absolutely love this Bass. Amazing sound, clean and clear when you want it, then will just bring the boom when you need it. Love how you can switch it from passive to active as well. I give it and the seller all the stars, five is just not enough. ... show more

  • Awesome purchase.
I'm not pleased with UPS not ringing my doorbell when they attempted to deliver it. I had to travel an hour away to pick it up myself, from their distribution center. However, that is beyond the control of the seller or by Amazon. The seller shipped it out very quickly and it did arrive faster than I originally expected. Also, I love the bass. It sounds and plays very well. Only complaint is that I wish Fender had made an American version of this instrument. But, after a few upgrades, that will be a moot point. I'd buy from the the seller again, without hesitation and will continue to buy the majority of my purchases through Amazon and their marketplace. ... show more

  • At this price for sure, I think you'll be sorry.
Nice looking guitar, granted. But the price tag??? Huh-uh. No way, ridiculous YOU'LL - BE - SORRY. That price for a Made in Mexico (MIM) Fender. The standards are not the same as those built in the U.S. I have a MIM Telecaster that arrived with a screw missing from the pick guard and the whole for the screw had not even been drilled. Also no sound was an issue except some occasional buzzing. I found the problem myself by removing the switch/control knob plate. Turns was wired incorrectly. If you don't have spare guitar parts, a soldering iron; wire cutters/strippers; guitar output jacks; connectors; crimping tools and some knowledge of using those things for repairs of various types you may just be purchasing a headache. For this price you can probably buy a MIA (Made In America) Tele and find way fewer problems and way better value for your money. This is ridiculous. I'd say it's worth $525 at best. No more. Your choice, don't forget this advisory. Good luck, I err on the safe side against buying this though at this price. BTW, I did drill the hole for the screw in the pick guard and the guitar works now. I have to disassemble it one more time because I'm getting slightly more hum than necessary and I am CERTAIN it is because I need to connect another ground wire in there somewhere. ... show more
