  • Great guitar very happy with it
Style: With Gig Bag Size: Acoustic-Electric Color: Aged Cognac Burst
I really like my new fender guitar not only is it a beautiful guitar, but it plays great. After looking at all the extras on this guitar and how it’s built with solid wood you can’t find anything with such good build for that price. The solid mahogany looks great and plays great I’m not a professional, but I’m very happy with the way this guitar plays it sounds great and it’s definitely easy to play, it’s definitely worth the money if you compare it to other guitars with the same wood and all the extras I’m very happy with it. It’s definitely a bonus that it comes with an awesome case. I was going to buy a hard shell case but this one will work just fine. It also comes with a humidifier which is nice. Definitely change the strings. When you get it. The strings that were originally on it didn’t sound that good. I put some new nicer strings on it and it sounds even more amazing. ... show more

  • Waste of money
Style: Guitar Only Size: Acoustic-Electric Color: Natural
I have been playing for 30 years. I lent my Martin to my daughters friend and never got it back. I wanted something inexpensive and nice-enough sounding. WHAT A JOKE! Tinny has taken on a new meaning. This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever tried to play. AVOID

  • My favorite guitar.
Style: With Gig Bag Size: Mini Acoustic Color: Sunburst
I love this guitar. I have 7 guitars, and this one gets played the most. This guitar is in between an acoustic and an electric guitar. The best of both worlds. If I don't have time to hook up my electric or if I don't feel like holding a giant acoustic, I play this one. The sound is not very full like a traditional acoustic but is pretty good sounding. This would be a perfect guitar for a beginner or a smaller person. Mine had a slight string buzz when I first played it. But I was able to adjust the truss rod inside the hole to help the neck bow and get it to go away. Learn how to do that before you attempt it though. ... show more

  • Great sound. Well made.
I like the looks and the sound. The Fishman onboard electronics are nice. Several reviews that I read stated the frets were not filed at the edges of the neck but I am not finding that. It has a nice clean but rich sound and the onboard tuner is accurate and bypasses the output when engaged. I did replace the original strings with a lighter gauge for playability. The resulting sound may be a tiny bit thinner acoustically but when amplified, I just add a little to the lower end. Great guitar, especially for the price. ... show more

  • For The Price? Yeah, sure...
Style: With Gig Bag Size: Acoustic-Electric Color: Aged Cognac Burst
Great sound, out of the box. This much is true. Nice built-in EQ and controls, and a built-in LED-lit tuner -- also true. Definitely feature-rich, but a skimpy on the selection for bone on the bridge and the end of the neck. Plus, the frets jut uncomfortably high -- not so as to affect the action insomuch as they restrict smooth traversal of the board. And I can already tell there'll be a need to adjust the truss rod sooner than later, too, if by only instinct. But if you're willing to maintain it, and put some of the finishing touches on it, and can do all that on your own, the sound is marvelous and the price is where it should be. Semi-recommend... ... show more

  • Good price for performance
1st the positives. This instrument looks great. I had a Fender 12 string in the 70's. It looks just like it, except with a steel rod in the body to support the tension issues with a bolt on the neck. Sounds great amplified! Fishman Preamp and Tuner are great!! Negatives: Craftsmanship needs to be improved. Considering I got it on sale, I'm okay with the neck and the blaze (sunburst) looking like what I left in the toilet this morning. My CP-60S Parlor sounds better unplugged, and I got that for $150 (sunburst and playability are better too). ... show more
