So after a 20 year break in playing guitar, it seems my brain still thinks it can play, but my fingers are another story. So I got the bundle package knowing that this is the cheapest acoustic/ electric that Fender sells as I relearn. Great for a beginner , plays nice and decent enough sound, but I wouldn't go with the expensive hard case option. FYI it shows it has 2 strap mounts but the second is useless. The neck is so heavy it wants to drop, so you need to attach the strap at the top of the neck. Now I got this bundle for the next acoustic/ electric I'm getting soon and the package was on sale, so everything just aligned with my needs perfectly. I got the starter to build my fingers up on, and a nice case I won't have to buy when I get the expensive guitar. Perfect

I’m a beginner guitar player and really enjoy this guitar. I started playing during the COVID pandemic looking for something to do. I went from using apps to taking 1:1 guitar lessons via Zoom. The reason I mention this is because I’ve been getting better and more interested in the components of a guitar. I was given an old acoustic that was cheap when I started. The action was pretty bad and difficult to play. Luckily I also have an electric that I used primarily during this time. I read some reviews and wanted an acoustic to play when I was out camping that I wouldn’t worry about too much. I wouldn’t want to take a nice Martin, Taylor, or Gibson guitar out with me so I bought this as an introductory acoustic. It plays well and much easier than the initial guitar I started with. I gave it a 4 star rating because the headstock and trim on the guitar are not black as it is pictured here. No biggie, still a very pretty guitar for a foreign made Fender and it receives complements on the looks frequently. I ordered this with the hard case. The packaging was not in the best shape upon receipt. But, both the guitar and the case were not damaged and in perfect shape free of blemishes. I would recommend this guitar to new players and intermediate as well if they are on a tighter budget like myself. Eventually I will invest in a nicer guitar that will live at home. But this is a great starting point and the one I will use while out and about having some fun.

I was excited to receive my first guitar, but was disappointed when I saw that everything was obviously used. The guitar was very out of tune, had small scratches in random places, all the packaging was obviously re-wrapped, the boxes re-tapped. You would think a new guitar would be NEW? well it was not. I'm not against having used items, but I paid full price for this item. Which is a rip-off in my opinion. Just a warning to anyone who buys this thinking they're getting a new guitar, you're not.

Received initial shipment. No issues with the box or the case but the head was broken off of the neck. Seller jumped on the issue and issued the return. Sent replacement and my wife absolutely loves it for her beginner guitar! Tuner works ok but guitar tuna app works better.

My son has been playing guitar for over a year and he has an electric guitar already. I wanted to get him an acoustic one and I found this one which is the best of both worlds. The first one we received didn’t sound right. It was so frustrating for him and us to figure out why it wouldn’t tune right and just plain sounded awful. We believe it was a manufacturing defect in the bridge. We contacted Amazon and did a replacement as we knew fender was a good guitar so we wanted to give them another chance. Glad we did cause the new one arrived sounding perfect! Never knew that could happen. So for beginners if it isn’t sounding right even after you tried to tune it exchange it.
