To clarify, I am very happy with this stand. Great materials, and with the fender name you just can’t go wrong… BUT just doing a quick google search of “guitar case stand” you will be met with a plethora of results that will all get you the exact same look as this case for a fraction of the cost which is why I’m only giving this 4-stars. I’m all for paying a little extra for brand name, but there is absolutely no reason for this to cost more than twice the competitions offerings. I specifically got this one for its dimensions based off where I was putting it in my studio, or else I would have definitely picked up one from Roadrunner or another brand. The leather button straps will wear over time and maybe eventually rip off depending on use and time. Great case, but it just isn’t worth $300+. ... show more

This is a very well built case/stand. It fits the guitars great. It even has a small flip up inside to stash some polishing clothes, polish or whatever you can fit. Only complaints I would have are the fabric feels a little loose on one of the interior folds and the padded spacers that sit between the guitars bodies do not fasten to the base of the case so they slide around but this is a minor complaint. It would be cool if one of the spacers was larger or if they all were rectangles so they could lay two different widths. I use it for electric guitars so the spacers are a little narrow for that purpose. All in all it’s a sturdy piece of gear that does it’s job very well. Could be improved upon for sure but it gets the job done and seems as though it will for years to come. ... show more

See the clasp photo. This plus another not pictured are what latches to the top panel and stiffens the scaffold. The clasps on the top panel do not line up well to the hardshell case latch and require significant manual pressure to align sufficiently to flip the catch. There's just no excuse for this slop, very non-professional. Other than that it is plush enough and will probably do the job. I can see that the plush lining might soon detach as others complain happens. It is ok out of the box but i can see it not very tightly glued down. I'd send this back but need it for a gig soon so will take my chances. Know what...for nearing $200, this isn't worth it so 4 stars for some shoddy quality and lose another for the high price point...3 total. ... show more
