I have always wanted a Fender since I was a teen and my friend had one. Their sound means quality. I have a cheap guitar and the difference in holding and playing is like night and day. The bundle comes with everything but a guitar stand. I just wish the guitar picks they gave were a variety of soft medium and hard instead of all medium. Built in amplifier connection works well with a mini amp also purchased. Built in tuner works pretty well. It also comes with an external tuner as well but I haven't used it. I use the Fender app on my phone which is very good and free. The neck of the guitar is thin for easy control. The soft case isn't just a piece of plastic but lined with padding for protection. Only complaint i have is the manual it comes with. It doesn't cover everything like where the battery goes or how the internal tuner works. Easy to figure out but still it comes with a 9v battery and wonder why until you figure to put in by the input plug. Anyway I love the Mahogany finish and the mellow sound. Hope this review helps!

I was researching the guitars for beginners and found out two guitars in the market. The one is this Fender CD-60SCE and the other one is Yamaha FG 800. I like Fender's sound and built quality little bit better than Yamaha when I was played at the shop for both of them. And most of my friends recommended Fender more than Yamaha. You will play everyday with this Fender guitar because it gives you back exact sound that you play. I definitely recommend Ferder more than Yamaha! Have fun with playing guitars.

The media could not be loaded. If you’re reading this and thinking about buying this guitar, just don’t. If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a guitar 2 times from them and both had serious issues. The first one, after a few weeks, started cracking where the neck and the head meet. I was able to return that one without much issue. The second one I received had pieces of wood inside the guitar when I took it out. I inspected it and couldn’t find any issues at that moment. Cut to 4 weeks later after returning from vacation and I notice cracks on the back of the guitar. I’m thinking “what in the world is going on?” I know it’s not me because I’ve had other acoustics and electrics for 20+ years and I’ve never had issues with the body of the guitar falling apart. I reach out to this company about my issue and because it had been 31 days, they refused to do anything. I had to contact Amazon to get this to accept the return. Then, they were going to try to charge me to ship it but I had to argue that too. However, when it was returned they charged me a restocking fee because it was 1 day past 30 days. They tried to tell me they couldn’t do anything about it. I was warned of a possible restocking fee but told them I didn’t feel that was fair since all I wanted was a functioning guitar to practice on. I even asked if they could just do an even exchange but they refused. I guess that’s one way to make money when you sell low quality items. On top of that, very disappointed in Fender as well. Don not buy this product from this company!

The product arrived without damage. All items (except for picks) were included. The strap is satisfactory and I am happy to have extra strings. The tuner works well enough, but you have to make sure that you hold down the button to turn it off. A single click changes the function. As far as the guitar goes, it looks cool, it has a nice bright sound, and the on board tuner does what it is supposed to. My biggest complaint about this guitar overall is the 13th fret has a buzz that I cannot get rid of. I have adjusted the truss rod and even shimmed the bridge to raise the action. It looks to me like that particular fret is just a hair shorter than the rest and that’s what’s causing the buzz. I bought this as a beater so it’s not a huge deal, but all the same when you buy a guitar you expect it to work at every fret.

I bought this wonderful Fender guitar so my son and I could learn to play together. The guitar is beautiful, seemed easy to tune and we are excited to learn together. The gig bag that came with the instrument as part of the package seems cheap, thin and has very little padding to protect the guitar. I expected a better quality bag from Fender and am very disappointed. I am planning to buy the same “ third party” gig bag my son has for his guitar which is of a much better quality! The gig bag is the only thing keeping me from giving a five star rating!
