    • Fender still means quality and cool.
Style: Bundle w/ Gig Bag Color: Black
This Fender was hard to get but at last I own one, I love this one more then my other Fenders that I own but if you want something on budget then this is the one for you. Yes it's tunable, well built and comes with a package deal with everything you need but an amp. Thanks JR

    • Sound is AMAZING
Style: Bundle w/ Gig Bag Color: Black
After reading multiple reviews on Amazon and watching several video reviews, I had very high expectations for this instrument, and it did NOT disapoint! Of course, out of the box it required a tuning and truss adjustment, but the sound is AMAZING. I did plug it in to an amp to make certain the "electric" part works, and was very happy with that as well. To be clear (because it was one of the things I was confused by from other's reviews...) both the plain acoustic sound (no amp) AND the "electric" (with amp) sounds are AWESOME! Highly recommend this instrument, it is very playable and sounds incredible! ... show more

Out of all the acoustics I’ve owned I have to say this is by far one of my favorites. Beautiful sound, and design not to mention it comes with a lot of extras; digital tuner (even though there’s one built into the guitar itself), extra strings, a strap, and not to mention a case. Plus a DVD with lessons for beginners. Overall great value and awesome product. ... show more

    • Great Fender guitar, but "Used - Like New" item was poorly repaired / Refurbished 🎸

The Fender CD-60SCE itself is a traditionally great instrument, but the unit I received was listed as "Used - Like New" when, in reality, it was a poorly executed DIY repair / low-quality refurbishment. Condition Issues "Used - Like New" Mismatch Poor Preamp Refinishing: The matte surface of the Fishman CD-1 preamp was incorrectly treated during repair, leaving it sticky and highly susceptible to scratches. Visible Repair Marks-There are clear screwdriver marks on internal components from an amateur repair job. Glue & Wood Defects- Visible glue residue remains on the fretboard near the last fret, and there is a poorly patched, shallow cavity in the wood near the 3rd fret. Electronics- The 9V battery for the preamp arrived completely expired. An item in "Like New" condition should only have minor outer packaging damage, not uncertified component repairs or cosmetic damage from poor restoration. The Included Bundle: Pros: The extra set of strings, strap, and 3 classic picks are nice bonuses. Cons: The gig bag is very cheap with rustling interior fabric. The clip-on tuner is redundant (the guitar already has a built-in one) and arrived with a dead CR2032 battery. The polishing cloth was missing. Verdict The guitar itself plays well, but if you are buying a "Used" unit expecting "Like New" factory condition, be very cautious. Inspect the instrument carefully or have a luthier evaluate it for hidden repairs upon delivery. ... show more
