Description

In a bold Fender first, the tone master Twin reverb amplifier uses massive digital processing power to achieve a single remarkable sonic feat: faithfully modeling the circuitry and 85-watt power output of an original Twin tube amp. Using a high-performance 200-watt digital power amp to achieve the headroom and dynamic range of a real vintage twin tube amp, paired with the pronounced sparkle and clarity of two Jensen n-12k neodymium speakers and a resonant Pine cabinet, The result is tubeless Twin reverb tone, volume and dynamics virtually indistinguishable from the all-tube original. And with all these features, the tone master Twin reverb is in fact about only half the weight of an all-tube Twin. Front panel features give guitarists a playing experience identical to the tube version, including Fender world-standard reverb and tremolo effects. Additional rear-panel features deliver modern convenience and flexibility – including an output power selector for full power and five attenuated settings, balanced XLR line output with impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations, mute switch for silent stage or recording use, USB port for firmware upgrades, and more. • Arrived In Box Perfect & Plays Awesome
Color: Natural Finish Style: 12-String Dreadnought
Wow, UPS just delivered my $349 Fender CD-60SCE-12 Dreadnought 12 string guitar two days early and the box is designed so well that the guitar (with no case), arrived on Maui, HI perfect !! I put my strong Kyser 12 string capo on the second fret because I tune down my guitar to make it play easier. I opened Youtube and typed in, Tune Your 12 String Guitar [Easy Way], this will make sure you are on all of the correct octaves in E tune and will not break any strings tuning. Just tune the guitar with the capo on it. I can't believe how nice this guitar plays for the price, I love it !! I am very happy with all of the hardware and craftsmanship and finish. I put the battery in and plugged it in to the amp. Really clean and clear sounds and then added some effects. I don't turn up my treble to much when I plugged in a 12 -- this clears any string buzz. So I hope you can tell how happy I am with this purchase !! Awesome 12 string production from Fender. ... show more

  • Very good guitar for the money
Color: Natural Finish Style: 12-String Dreadnought
To start, I play guitar because I like it, not because I am good at it. At the tender age of 63 I have a little over a year on stringed instruments and started with a bass, tried a six string and loved it, and I’ve had a yen for trying out a twelve for fun. I’d been playing twelves at local shops but I wasn’t ready to drop $500 on a sometimes instrument. As I was perusing the Amazon site I saw that this Fender was only $210, reduced from its usual $299. After a few hours of consideration I hit the button. I have had five Fenders and am a fan of their acoustics as they are good instruments for the price, and look cool. It arrived two days later in its original box. On opening it I saw that it was in pristine condition. I removed the plastic and strummed and it sounded awful. Quick research on the web told me that often twelve strings are detuned before shipping, especially if there is air travel involved. It took awhile, but I finally got it in tune after I realized how. Tune the top two in unison, the next two in unison, then tune the remaining thick strings to a normal tune. The thin strings go an octave higher. If you don’t know (and I didn’t) just keep tuning up until you hit the next E, A, D, and G. Once it was in tune it sounded good. It has held a tune fairly well since. By good I mean that it sounds good for a $300 guitar and will never hit the sounds of a top end twelve, but it is good enough for my playing abilities. Hotel California sounds amazing on it. The sound is a bit high pitched, but that can easily be solved with different strings. Plugged in it sounded nice and still retained that nice acoustic sound. Overall, I would buy this guitar again. It’s a good entry level twelve and will probably satisfy my needs for some time. It also looks good hanging on that wall. On a side note, the 9 volt battery that came with it died in a day, easily replaced. Update- The more I play this instrument, the more I like it. My son in law was over and he liked it so much he ordered one. Grab one before the price goes back up again. ... show more

  • You can’t go wrong
Color: Natural Finish Style: 12-String Dreadnought
I’ve been playing for over 50 years. This guitar plays better than my Rickenbacker 370/12. I don’t think you can find a better sounding, playing 12 string at this crazy price. I thought for sure I’d be returning it. Once I let it equilibrate to the house temperature and humidity it tuned right up. The neck is straight and intonation is spot on. The Fishman pickup system sounds great. I own about 25 guitars. Some vintage from the 60’s. I will be keeping this one. ... show more

  • Pretty nice guitar
Color: Black Style: 6-String Dreadnought
Sounds pretty good for a less expensive guitar. It has decent electronics too. BUT the strings were too high off the frets to play it comfortably. I happen to be a long time guitar player and know how to adjust this problem. I tightened the truss rod which helped some but I also had to sand the bottom of the bridge to get it comfortable to play. So if you buy this guitar plan on spending an additional $100 to get it set up properly at a guitar shop. It does play and sound very well after the adjustments. ... show more

  • Super cheap and poorly made
Color: Black Style: 6-String Dreadnought
Even though this carries Fender's name, it's a very cheap and poorly constructed guitar. The high e and the b string buzz. The neck doesn't adjust easily. I waited past the return date so now I'm stuck with it. Now I have to decide if I want to sink more money into it to set it up properly. In the electronics are subpar. The low e tone overwhelms the other five strings. No matter how I adjust my settings. So for example, when you play an e major chord, All you hear is the overwhelming e bass note from the low e string. The other five strings don't ring out. Cleanly. I'm not happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Beautiful looks and beautiful sound
Color: Natural Finish Style: 12-String Dreadnought
First time playing a12 string guitar. This Fender model is flawless. Was not expecting such an awesome sound for the price. I tuned it to a D standard tuning and wow! Feels and sounds amazing. I’m so glad I did not spend thousands of dollars. Fisherman tuner made tuning easy and ready to play quickly. Wow, wow, and wow! ... show more

  • Don't forget to remove the pick board plastic!
Color: Black Style: 6-String Dreadnought
I love this guitar. At first, I was going to return it because it looked damaged on the pick board. That was just a VERY thin plastic. The guitar is beautiful and sounds and plays beautifully for its price point.
