This is the best package combo you can get. Solid top guitar, hard case, digital tuner, strap, picks, and extra set of strings. Literally everything a beginner needs and its all good quality. The set up was perfect for me straight out the box,no adjustments needed. No sharp frets and no fret buzz. Intonation was spot on and the tuners hold in tune. All that for $249 is a steal. I have numerous begginer level acoustics, Yamaha FG800, Ibanez AW54, and this Fender CD60. Of the 3 the overall package value makes the Fender the best. The Fender is slightly heavier but the neck is the most comfortable of the 3 to me. The slightly shorter scale of the Fender makes it easier to play as well. The Yamaha I would say has a slightly more traditional dreadnaught sound but the low's and highs tend to drowned out the mids where as the Fender sounds more balanced. I noticed the seller (Austin Bazaar) offered the CD60S in two packages with hard case. One was $249 and the other was $299. I'm not sure what the difference is between the two. My fear was that the $249 was advertised wrongly and was the all laminate CD60 but I gambled and it ended up being accurate and I recieved a solid top CD60S. The package shipped by UPS arrived quickly (4 days) and in good condition. One very tiny rub mark/blemish on the bottom side of the case but no big deal. It will get many more over the years around the campfire. Upon inspection of the interior of the guitar, it is made in Indonesia. There were no globs of excess glue. There were a few pieces of bracing with excess shavings that could have been cleaned up prior to assembly but again no big deal. Overall if I was a beginner or someone getting back into playing and had a limited budget, I wouldn't hesitate to take this package get going.

My first guitar and I’m 72. For what it’s worth to you it seems to be a nice guitar. You get a very nice case, a tuner, picks, extra strings, a strap, etc. you don’t actually get a cd but you get a QR code for YouTube channel with Marty Schwartz. Seems like a fare deal. I’m struggling so far to play but making some nice sounds with a couple cords. Maybe I’ll learn something. Na.

100% received what I ordered in great condition and in a timely manner. Ordered enough in advance for shipping mishaps to still receive it in time for Christmas. Very beautiful deep colored dreadnought with a great sound. Perfect size for my husband that is 6”1.. Will be adding some better quality strings for a richer sound, but the ones that come on it are just fine as well. It’s not a professional grade but it’s definitely better than beginner.. a nice happy medium for the every day player that likes to travel with tunes. Huge plus that hard case is included for extra protection and durability.

It has excellent sound and finish and a quality hard case! They didn't get cheap with the rest of the goodies in the kit! I have been playing for 55 years and bought it to replace a 20 year old Gibson that got smashed in a move,I like this guitar better! All that being said it caught me by surprise that the whole thing is one piece, head neck and body are not separated. That's not a big deal I'll just give it the test of time! Also your probably reading this on Amazon and that's fine, the important note is it came from Austin Bazaar and was delivered quickly!

There was a sponge, two plastic lacquer lids, a piece of sandpaper all wedged inside the guitar. There is no DVD lesson. The tuner's battery was completely dead. The guitar has some minor cosmetic issues.
