Swift delivery. I checked it out top to bottom for defects and couldn’t find any. The tuners stay in tune. The neck needs no adjustment. It sounds as well as expected. I’m away from home so there’s no amp to try plugging it in. Built-in tuner is a nice feature. I saw one complaint about the Fender sticker on the pick guard and how hard it was to take off. It’s actually attached to a peel off clear coating that’s hard to detect, but it’s there and comes off. Overall I am very happy with the Bass. The only changes I plan to make at this point are to maybe lower the action just a hair and put on flats. ... show more

After looking around at multiple guitar stores for a beginner acoustic bass I settled on the Fender CB-60SCE. None of the local music stores had it in stock and I was leery of ordering a string instrument online and having it shipped only to have it arrive and be beyond my beginner to setup properly. Having ordered it, I must say that I am happy how it was shipped, and it even came ready to play! A simple tune and I was strumming away. Love the guitar, furious with Fender for attaching a Fender promotional sticker to the pick guard with extra sticky glue. Impossible to remove it without scuffing the pick guard. I haven’t even played the guitar yet and it’s already got scuff marks due to this ridiculous sticker. What are you guys thinking? ... show more

I'm a beginner bassist but not new to instruments. Nice to have the acoustic option for practice and solo playing as well as being able to plug in to an amp. I've been impressed with the quality of this instrument. Love the built-in tuner and happy that this bass stays pretty well in tune between playings. Lowest notes buzz a little but that can be adjusted with the action, I just haven't got around to doing it yet. Overall pleased with it. ... show more

I bought this for a Christmas gift and i wasn't going to open it until i gifted it but i wanted to make sure it came in perfect condition and i was so devastated because it’s beautiful aside from it being almost in two pieces. The shipping was fast but im so heartbroken.
