Description

The Paramount PS-220E combines state-of-the-art craftsmanship with vintage- inspired appointments, delivering the best of both worlds. Built with a solid spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides, the PS-220E features an offset X-bracing pattern that has been carefully refined to optimize resonance and tone. A Fender and Fishman®-designed pickup amplifies the tight, articulate tone of the PS-220E’s newly designed parlor body shape, while the soundhole-mounted controls preserve the vintage aesthetics. Under the top, a body-sensing pickup enhances the soundboard's vibrations which can then be blended with the undersaddle Sonicore pickup. Updated cosmetics include snowflake-shaped pearloid fingerboard inlays, feathered purfling, rosette, and backstrip, and a Black or Tiger Stripe pickguard. The PS-220E also features an ovangkol bridge and 14-fret fingerboard, slim-taper mahogany neck, bone nut and saddle, and comes with a hardshell case.

  • Amazing Value
Style: Dreadnought Body Size: Acoustic Color: Mahogany
I’ve owed this since January and I absolutely love this guitar. I think I got pretty lucky when I got it because it was only $280 brand new when I purchased it. $280 for a FULLY SOLID guitar with a hard shell case. Now it did need a few turns with the handy dandy hex key, but after that it was all good. It sounds awesome with some Daddario xs’s. The price of this guitar gets pretty low so I would wait until it gets to that $350 mark then jump on it because it is a awesome value. ... show more

  • Quality Fender product!
Style: Parlor Body Size: Acoustic Color: Aged Cognac Burst
This guitar was a lot smaller than I envisioned, but it has huge sound! Great Fender craftmanship, and it is a beauty to behold as well. The pickup controls were inside so I thought I had misread the description. Plugged it in to my amp and it sounded even better! The rigid case is also of good quality and a nice bonus! I bought a more expensive Fender electric guitar and it only came with a soft gig bag. ... show more

  • Sound hole mounted preamp was not attached to the body of the guitar.
Style: Dreadnought Body Size: Acoustic Color: 3-Color Vintage Sunburst
This guitar is a factory defect. Sold by Amazon LLC as new and shipped from a fender warehouse. It didn't say anything about these being b stock or factory defects in the descriptions, but apparently that is what I got at least. After some crying to Fender and pleading my case extensively Fender gave me a return and offered to exchange it for a new one. At first they tried to get me to take it for repair and told me I would have to pay for it to be repaired since it was bought on amazon the original buyer is the one with the warranty. Lucky it was shipped and sold by Amazon llc and not a third party. I'm pretty sure that's the only reason they agreed to exchange. So be careful buying brand new fender guitars on here. Make sure it's from the fender store or actual Amazon or you might get stuck with a broken brand new guitar. ... show more

  • Really nice guitar by Fender, could use better battery access
Style: Dreadnought Body Size: Acoustic Color: Natural
This is a well built , great sounding guitar by Fender. The Sonotone fishman blended pickup System give a nice natural Acoustic sound. Also you get a quality hardshell case. One thing I don’t like is the 9volt battery is inside the guitar so the strings need to be removed to change It.

  • AWESOME GUITAR
Style: Triple-0 Body Size: Acoustic Color: Mahogany
This is an unbelievable guitar ! Beautiful sound and finish. The premium case is awesome! Really can’t believe I got a solid wood guitar with a premium case at this price point. What a deal. Did not have to adjust action and neck was straight. I changed the strings to my favorite so it came out of box ready to tune and play! If you have always wanted a solid wood guitar but could not afford I recommend this beautiful Fender PM-3. What a deal! ... show more

  • Beautiful/light playable guitar but Intonation was not good
Style: Triple-0 Body Size: Acoustic Color: Mahogany
This is one of the nicest guitars I have come across. Its light and easy to play. The woodwork is nice but the problem was the intonation. I expected more. I got better intonation from a Fender cd60sce I bought a few months back for almost half the cost. THAT was probably a better deal when viewed from an intonation/cost standpoint. I expected when paying more bucks I would get something better. The funny thing was it arrived almost in tune. It could hold the tuning very very well even over several days it could stay almost in tune. But try and play up the neck - no luck. Then I tried using a capo and got it in tune but the same problem. It was almost ok but just some of the strongs were slightly out and did not play satisfactory chords to my ear. I checked it on a tuner and I could see 2 of the strings were just slightly out of tune when depressed. And its not a nut problem because when I used the capo thus isolating the nut there was the same problem. If I could get one with good intonation I think I would buy 2 of these guitars I liked it so much. Maybe I will head over to GC and put it to them that I will buy one if they can provide it with good intonation. Put the ball in their court. ... show more
