  • Fender Quality Shines in these 500k Pots. *** Soldering skills very helpful ***
Style: Potentiometer
I recently upgraded the 250k volume and tone potentiometers in my Squire Telecaster guitar, replacing them with these 500k Fender potentiometers. The results have been quite noticeable and overwhelmingly positive. Specifically, these new potentiometers completely eliminated the annoying scratching sound that occurred during volume and tone sweeps, a persistent issue I had been experiencing with the original, smaller-sized potentiometers. The difference in quality is immediately apparent; the original potentiometers only lasted a few months before they became completely unusable, whereas these Fender components seem much more durable and provide a smoother, more consistent performance. It would be good if you are skilled in soldering. ... show more

  • Good quality pots.
Style: Potentiometer
Good price for a couple of high quality pots. No scratchyness or static when turned. Been using every day for a couple months and they still sound fine. Come included with nuts and washers, as well as a capacitor. If you can solder, they're easy to install. So far, a good product. Used these to pre place the stock pots in my 2008 MiM standard telecaster. ... show more

  • Major upgrade
Style: Potentiometer
Ok so I have a guitar that’s cheaper and I’m learning to do everything on it but the guitar holds a special place in my heart so I decided to upgrade it. For the price of this pot it really is a good deal and it’s installed and sounds amazing. I’m not an audiophile or anything but I did notice a difference compared to the regular pot that was in. For the fit I had to shave the hole a little bigger but that wasn’t a big deal. It performs great and I added a treble bleed on it and sounds so good. NOW my only gripe with it is that when I went to put my volume knob on it the shaft fell out of the threading. There are 4 prongs that hold onto it and any amount of pressure lifts them up and it falls out. I basically had to shave the inside of the volume knob and gently and slowly rock the volume knob back and forth until it caught some. That was probably the most annoying thing of this pot, it wasn’t a deal breaker but I’m scratching my head at why there wasn’t a better way so they don’t separate so easily. ... show more

The potentiometer offers smooth and precise control over both volume and tone, making it ideal for humbucker-equipped guitars. The included .022µF 250V tone capacitor ensures clear tonal adjustments. Installation was straightforward, fitting perfectly with my guitar's specifications. Overall, a high-quality component that enhances the guitar's performance. ... show more

  • These are CTS Pots
Style: Potentiometer
What you get in the package is a CTS brand pot and a tone cap of unknown origan. The pots are superior to generic full size pots and have much more consistent friction. The tine cap worked just fine for me as well. Keep in mind that the shafts on these pots are sized for US style knobs, not the smaller import knobs. In my view, these are a great deal. ... show more
