At first I was skeptical because I'm use to the normal locks, however I bought them since I'm building my custome telecaster with gold parts. I must say the look really nice and high quality. It came on abox with some suade foam inside that had the parts seperated from each other, so they wouldn't scratch. The installation was so EASY and when putting the locking pin, I grabbed it by the pin and shook hard and they didn't fall of nor get stuck. Amazing quality! ... show more

I really liked the way this product looked. You can unlock your strap easily with just one hand. Thought that was kinda cool. The problem is that it juts out from the body of the guitar quite a bit and doesn't feel as secure. Other strap locks are significantly shorter and much closer to the body. I ultimately returned this for a more traditional Fender strap lock as I didn't want to take any chances as it wobbled a little bit too. It's too bad the shaft is so long on these, as it'd totally be a keeper otherwise. Unfortunately, it isn't compatible with more traditional strap locks if you were to mix and match. ... show more
