Yes these are hefty, but it's pleasurable to drink from. While hand size may make a difference, I think a lot of reviewers here just don't know how to hold on to a cup unless it has a handle lol. It’s a coffee cup, nothing special but looks fancy. I haven’t had any issues with it breaking or anything yet but it is a small pain to wash with the copper base. Has a good weight to it but it’s not too uncomfortable, it keeps my coffee warm without burning my hands. May buy the little ones later but for now the 8oz one is nice. ... show more

This is very attractive as a gift with the metal base. The recipient will use for pour over coffee. It was purchased because it is double walled so it will keep the contents warmer for longer. Note there is just one cup, not two as the photo suggests.

I purchased this 8oz cup wanting to love it, but instead I was highly disappointed. After all, this is VERY EXPENSIVE for just (1) cup! So, my expectations were high. It is very slippery to hold, specially when is full of liquid, it doesn’t retain heat long enough for me to finish the coffee, and the fact that is a split design makes it difficult to rinse without water sipping inside the insulated portion of the cup. Listed capacity is 12oz but 9 oz fills it to the brim and 8 oz is the practical useable capacity. Also you only get one in the package despite all the photos in the listing showing two mugs.

Looks great. And double-wall keeps things warm longer than usual. But the conical shape and heavy weight means that it wants to slip and fall out of your hand when you pick it up, especially when it's heavier with a full cup. It also can't be put in a dishwasher and must be hand washed... which leads to the next problem. When handwashing, the gap between the copper bottom and ceramic top leaves a channel for water to collect in. The next time you raise the mug to your mouth, you'll be drinking your drink but the leftover water in that outer channel might spill on you. You'll be left really confused as to how you spilled on yourself. More for impressing guests than drinking. ... show more
