I'm writing this review assuming that the people buying this are at least buying the full set, meaning a crib and another piece of furniture like the 6 drawer dresser. To start, I would highly suggest that you begin by putting together the smallest piece first, so for us we bought the crib, this 4 drawer dresser, and the 6 drawer chest, and I started on the 4 drawer dresser. The instructions dont have really any words to them so its basically following the pictures and learning from there. Some of the cons with the instructions are sometimes the pictures are misleading or incorrect and the pieces arent labeled so its hard to tell which is front and which is back, or which is left/which is right. I would also suggest you use an 18V screwdriver on everything EXCEPT the cam bolts as you dont want to put these in too far which I found out the hard way on this piece. Once you get the hang of it the crib and other pieces are easy to put together. By myself this piece took about 1.5-2hrs to assemble the first time, however the 6-drawer chest and crib took about 1 hour each after that. Just make sure to thoroughly review the instructions as you go and its really not bad at all. After completion we are thrilled with how the pieces turned out. They are very high quality and very sturdy. The nursery looks great and we couldnt be happier with how the pieces turned out. I would highly recommend this set.

All parts were labeled, well packaged and directions were clear. Unfortunately, there was damage to 3 pieces that were not related to shipping. For example, the front of the drawer had a prominent blemish related to the finishing procedure. Called Amazon and was very pleased with the resolution.

We have 2 of these dressers in white. One is 5 years old and we assembled without wood glue. The other is 3 years old and was assembled with wood glue. Although both dressers are holding up, I would recommend using glue when you assemble. Both of the dressers have minor (smaller than a pencil eraser) spots where the paint has been knocked off. These are easily touched up using a qtip and craft paint. This is the perfect height to throw a changing pad on top of for babies (tip: use the changing pad on top some of rubber drawer liner to keep it from slipping). I like that the drawers aren’t too deep for kids clothes. I also like having four drawers for kids instead of the typical 3. The top drawer is just high enough that I can safely keep lotions and things that are good to have assessable in children’s rooms, but you don’t want kids to have free access to. I don’t see us keeping these dresser for more than another 2-3 years, but they were great for baby and toddler use and I would buy one again for the same use.

Overall, this dresser is sturdy, was relatively easy to assemble, and looks great. The dresser is painted in pure white, and retains a semi-gloss finish which facilitates cleaning). The inside of the dress is a light natural wood color. Assembly was relatively easy; although, we did have one misstep assembling the dresser frame relatively early on in the process (hence the loss of one star). Once the frame was finished, the process of mass producing the drawers was simple. The drawers fit together well, are level, and do not touch. The slides are fairly smooth, but it would be nice if they were auto-closing. My wife and I plan to use this dresser as a changing table. When the changing pad is added, it's approaching the point where my 5'10 spouse has a difficult time reaching and maneuvering. For us, the dresser plus our changing pad, remains in the height range where the changing table options is feasible. If you're, on the shorter side, this could be a real issue (although you could try to go with a thinner travel-style changing pad). On balance, I would purchase this dresser again.

This is definitely not a quality heirloom piece. That being said, I was looking for something cheap so that if my 6 year old daughter did some damage to it, I would not be too upset. The hubby and I put it together in maybe an hour or so. He is a handy guy so not a hard item to assemble. The dresser itself looks nice. It goes great with the hodgepodge assorted white furniture my daughter has. We have had this dresser for almost a year now and have had no problems with it. (Other than her leaving a glass of ice-water on the surface that sweated and ultimately marred the top...I knew it was coming!) I feel that this dresser is holding up well and will last until we are ready to spend money on quality furniture when I am confident it won't be destroyed.

This dresser looks nice and has kept in good shape for almost two years with a new baby. I will say, though, it was a total hassle to put together with so many pieces and despite that fact that it looks nice it is pretty low quality furniture for the price. The matching changing table had a drawer front fall off and we had to fix it. I am giving this four stars because it does look nice and we will probably get another 2-3 years out of this piece of furniture. If this was a $99 piece of furniture it would have met all my expectations, but at twice it is a little lacking.
