I have purchased 6 of these in various sizes. Two of the 16 oz for cold beverages (more room for ice). Two of the 12 oz for hot beverages (all the beverages here are coffee or tea). Two more 16 oz as gifts. Easy to dismantle and clean. Easy to fill. Keeps thing remarkably hot or cold. The drinking lip feels perfect to sip from. The splash guard... Amazing. I thought it was stupid at first. Then when I was drinking someone bumped me trying to get my attention. No spill. Splash guard for the win. Splash guard forever. All hail splash guard. The lid seals tight. I put in my coffee, either dry or liquid creamer. Lid on. Shake it. No leaks. I put these in with my bag full of electronics, I have no worry about anything happening to my ipad/earbuds/Nintendo switch etc. 10/10 would buy again for myself if I have to replace one. I'm planning on buying more to give to coworkers for Xmas. I realize now this probably sounds like a sponsored review. It's not. I wish I was getting paid for how much I talk about these fellow cups. I'm sure some people around me are probably tired of how much I gush about these cups. That's why I made this review. Really perfect product for truckers. On the road from before dawn to after dusk my husband has finally found the perfect travel mug for coffee. He says it stays too hot to drink for hours if he keeps the lid on it. The inside splash guard is amazing so all his coffee doesn’t end up coming out at once when he’s sipping as he moves down the road - and it seems to help keep coffee hot. We’ve had the same mug for about three years of daily use and it looks and works great!

I bought two of these. The grey was the cheapest and so grey it was. It’s a nice dark grey and looks classic. The lip is easy to drink from and so far I haven’t lost the little sink drain basket looking piece or the lid on either one, but it would be super easy to do, so I am expecting it. Speaking of the little basket thingy…don’t forget to take it out before you shove the mug under the ice cube chute of your fridge. Ask me how I know. On to the real heart of these things - does it keep cold stuff cold and hot stuff hot and for how long? Oddly, hot stuff stays hot for much longer than cold things stay cold. It will not hold ice overnight in an air conditioned room. If I am lucky, my water will still be cold, in the wee hours of dawn, but it will not be ice cold. As for the second one which I use for coffee. I preheat it with boiling water while waiting on my French press and the coffee seems to stay on the ragged edge of hot until the next morning. Not hot enough that I could put cold creamer in it and have it be hot enough for my tastes, but hot enough to drink black if you had to. Honestly, I have an old style Ozark Trail 20oz tumbler that I have had for years that will run rings around either one of these. It is shocking how long it will keep ice in your drink and will keep a coffee hot. It’s kind of fat and I think the vacuum space between its two walls is wider.. if the lid was better, goodness knows how long it would keep stuff at temp. The Fellow mug does what so many vacuum things do…they go for a straight walled, smaller diameter vessel that allows for easy heat exchange between the inner wall and the world outside of it. The lid looks like it would be good at preserving temp, but it isn’t. I can tell which mug is my cold water or hot coffee just by touching the lid. What does it do well? It IS leakproof provided you snug the lid properly. You could juggle with these and nary a drop is escaping. So they do that. And they look nice and well made, even in a dark gunmetal grey, But really…fat old style Ozark Trail 20 oz tumblers are probably hitting the second hand stores now. Go find one or two, buy new lids, clean/disinfect with a bit of Clorox or by boiling them for a couple of minutes and you’ve got one or two of the best vacuum mugs/tumblers out there. Leave the snooty stuff like this to be just meh by itself.
