Been a happy user with a 20ft Premium HDMI Cable, that also claims 18 Gbps, YUV 4:4:4 for almost a year. There was no issue at all with all my devices. It is connected to my Projector via receiver which is hooked up to my bluray player and amazon fireTV. I only encounter an issue when I recently got an AppleTV who happens to have Dolby Vision (first device with DV), every time I turn back ON my setup using the AppleTV, there will be some sort of downgrading happening all the time. The APTV wont recognize 4k DV 60hz connection instead it will just downgrade to 4k DV 30hz, it really drives me nuts knowing my TV and Receiver is DV compatible. The HDMI cable that I was using as main Display to Receiver (20ft) was somehow labeled as certified premium, so I was pretty confident that any handshake issues was pretty much addressed beforehand as I always futureproof my equipment's if possible. After continues occurrence, I sorted to asking over forums, groups and internet and someone had the same issue before and suggested to change to Optical fiber cable. It is then that I search over amazon and discover these brand as it was in the middle when it comes to price, not the most expensive but certainly not the lowest either. At first, I was hesitant coz seems like a new technology or out of the usual. With amazons great return policy, I did ended up trying it coz if it doesn't solve the issue I could just return it anyway. So far so good and I'm happy about it. I will not go deep into detail about the item but, yes it did resolve the issue I had with Dolby Vision on my AppleTV 4k. I've been using it for more than a month now and never encounter the same issue over again. There was a slight improvement on the Picture Quality, although these could be just a personal observation. The item I believe is still a bit pricey though for an HDMI, hope it would be more affordable and I also hope they offer it into shorter lengths as well. The HDMI is also directional, meaning the port saying to the Display should go to the TV and the one with source to the receiver on my side. Dont be foolish like me to interchange the ports or else it wont work as intended. I had nothing bad to say to the item only if they could at least lower down the cost and improve the packaging to match the price point(hehehe). It has been a flawless experience thus far. If you have the same issue or wish to improve Picture Quality by a bit, its a good option to try.

I was told by a professional that this would not be possible, but it works perfectly. I have a high end Denon AVR that is 50+ feet away from my new OLED Samsung S95D TV. I ran some tests before running it through the attic and tried out an older 4K tv as well. I’ve now run 8K at 16k HDR 240 fps, plus full Dolby Atmos through all 65’ of this cable and no issues at all. It is beautiful and solid. My regular high end HDMI cable wouldn’t handle it. Not even close. I would have preferred a more sturdy skin for heat resistants, but the technology is solid so I cannot complain. I’ll report back after I’ve had it a few months. It gets hot in Texas, so we’ll see how it handles 140 deg in the attic.

Update: The seller replaced the broken cable quickly and free of charge, so you can at least expect decent customer service. The replacement cable seems to work well so far, but the again the previous cable worked great for about 3 months before failing so we'll see. Having to uninstall the old cable and route the replacement was a multi-hour undertaking that should have been avoided from the beginning but I'm glad the seller was responsive and prompt. Original: TLDR: The cable worked spectacularly well for 3 months and then seemingly died overnight - no response despite changing input and output devices. The cable has not been moved at all during that time. If you're looking at this review, you probably know how hard it is to purchase an HDMI 2.1 cable that actually works at 4k 120hz. This is my third attempt to procure a working HDMI 2.1 cable, the first two (from a different manufacturer) had image artifacts and blackouts. Unlike my other 2 cables, this one worked great at first. 3 months of daily usage connecting a computer to an LG OLED TV in another room with no problems at all. Then I woke up one morning to find this cable completely dead and no amount of troubleshooting has resolved anything - both my graphics card and TV are still working fine. I have contacted the company and requested a replacement through both Amazon and their official website. I will update this review accordingly if and when I receive a response. For those still looking for HDMI 2.1 cables, the quality control issues have become such an issue that Linus Tech Tips has actually invested in a cable tester to see if cables actually are built to spec. You may want to check out these videos on YouTube to help inform your purchasing decisions.

I bought this product to connect an Xbox across the room to a pc monitor for when I want to play at 120 hz. All I need is 1080p @ 120 fps, and it works very well through 2 wall jacks at each end with regular 6 ft passive hdmi cables on both ends. The actual fiber hdmi goes behind the wall, up through the ceiling and down another wall. It was thin, flexible, and easy to pull. BEWARE that this cable is NOT bi-directional. They do tell you that in the package, but keep that in mind when you install it through walls and whatnot, because if you do it backwards you will have to pull it all the way out and re pull it. Anyway, after installation, the monitor received signal, picture was crisp, and was able to negotiate 120 hz. I recommend this product.
