PROs: + Tape on strip light extra sticky + Able to hold up outside thus far + Color is bright! + Remote/Smart Function works well + Good amount of length (had to buy two for my pergola 10x10) + On/off plus dimmer on actual switch near plug + Able to trim for smaller areas + Came with Mounting clips + super easy to connect (do it close to the router first and shouldn’t have any issues wherever you put it long term). CONS: + tape was extra sticky so had to make sure it didn’t stick to the paper side when first pulling it off All in all really glad I bought these. Nice addition to patio. I like that there are literally 3 ways I can control these (smart, remote, additional switch near the plug). Going to buy more soon! ... show more

I purchased this product to replace a standard rope light in a tray ceiling. I have several other Feit Electric smart products (downlights, A19s, fans), so I went with this product in the interest of not having to use multiple apps to my control lights. I have never had issues with the Feit platform or connecting devices. This product is as-advertised and performs well. The color tuning is responsive and allows for scheduling, scene setting, etc. My two complaints compared to other LED strip lights: -The strips are trimmable, however due to the connection (USB-C), once trimmed, the trimmed pieces are no longer usable. One end of the string has a male adapter and the other end has a female adapter. Other string lights would have RGB connection points which would allow you to use smaller pieces with connections. Once this product is trimmed, you can use a male to male connector to connect the female end to the power source/controller. However if both ends needed to be trimmed or you are working with smaller pieces, you would wind up needing to order full sets to ensure they had connectors in tact. This was problematic as I would have liked to make sharp corners in my ceiling but wasn't able to make cuts. -There is a diffuser built in and provides fairly uniform color distribution, but isn't quite as smooth compared to using an external diffusers. Note - I didn't try to use the adhesive because my space was far to dusty to even try. I secured them using a small bracket. In general I never expect strip light adhesives to work. ... show more

I absolutely love these lights! I initially purchased them to run down my hallway because it is a very dark hallway with no natural light. My father is older, and I didn't like him feeling like he had to walk around with a flashlight at night. These are perfect and I can change the color and brightness any time I want through the app. I have it set for a timer so it automatically comes on and off as I determined, so I have them from sun down to sun up, so there is always light in the hallway for people to safely walk without having to find a switch. I liked it so much, I purchased 2 more. One now lights up my basement steps and one is on my patio lighting up my hot tub area. The remote didn't work well on two of my strips, but it doesn't matter since my Alexa app and the Feit app on my phone both will operate it better than the remote. I've had them up and running for about two months, and I am very happy with them. The adhesive on the lights is VERY strong, so once you stick it you cannot adjust without ripping the wallboard paper/paint behind. On the plus side, that means it is less likely to come down when you don't want it to. ... show more

I purchased these lights on July 11, 2023. They worked great until a couple of weeks ago when they would not change colors. Only red and white worked. Since the Amazon return had expired I emailed Feit on 11/03/2023, for the warranty. I provided them a receipt, and a picture of the label on the cord as proof. I have sent several emails trying to find out what their intent is refund or replacement, all to no avail. I am having a party and need these lights working. I ordered another brand from Amazon, but am waiting to see what Feit is going to do. This should have been a no brtainer. I would not ourchase from Feit again. ... show more

I have Kasa brand switches and plugs around my home but heard negatives about the connectivity to smart ecosystems with their strip lights. So I decided to try this Feit Electric strip about a year ago and have been pleased with it. I’ve added it to the back of a TV and dresser and love the ability to adjust the color to match my other lighting. The remotes didn’t seem to work well for me but I have all my lighting on schedules so I haven’t a need for a remote. ... show more
