  • Surprisingly awesome

Bought for my rv. And I’m honestly surprised with not good it is. Super easy install. And looks like daylight when using at night. Wish it had a feature to dim the monitor easier at night the screen is pretty darn bright. But still really good

  • Great Budget Camera for Campers
Size: 1 Camera
We have an old pup camper that's a pain to back into forested sites, and this backup camera was just the ticket to avoid plowing into trees, boulders, or other standard campsite obstacles. It's also been a lifesaver for getting it stored in the tight space on the side of our house. There's a generous amount of cord to connect the camera, although it was a bit tricky running the initial wiring under our vehicle to our hitch for hook-up to the camera on the back of our camper. I decided to mount it to our bumper instead of the roofing, though, to avoid causing leaks and minimize the camera's exposure. Pro-tip, I keep the camera covered (even with a camper cover), just to minimize the weathering on the camera. Images are clear and I like that I can even access the camera while driving if I want to just check for safe lane changing or any vehicle backup issues I'm causing on single-lane roads. I didn't hook it up to automatically switch on when in reverse since it's just as easy to activate the camera when I need it. Installation definitely takes more than 6 minutes as it claims if you want it done right, but it's worth the investment of time to get it set up properly. It's a quality camera with a good price point, so I'd say it's definitely worth it for a simple investment in safety and security. Happy camping! ... show more

  • Backup Camera Best Used When Installed Externally
Size: 1 Camera
This is a review of Feisike’s Backup Camera, 7" HD 1080P Display Lag-Free Wired Connection System (Model ADC703). The backup camera display screen came with all of the needed installation wiring. However, the documentation was limited. Given the number of separate wires that needed to be correctly connected, I was surprised at how little documentation was provided for those connections. They do provide an email address for technical support, but that can take considerably longer and involve much more of my time than simply reading some clear documentation with photos. I decided to look at each and every connector to see where the male and female connector matched up. In almost all cases, there was only one connection choice, but there was one (or two?) ambiguous potential connections that I solved through trial-and-error. My goal for this backup camera was to do a simple setup with a minimum of hidden internal wiring and to have the backup camera installed on the inside on the back window of my minivan. I did not choose to hook the camera up to the reverse gear detection. There was ample wiring to go from the front of the minivan where I had the display and the cigarette lighter power plugged in to the rear window where the camera was located. I could locate the wire wherever I thought it could best be placed without worrying about running out of wire in the process. Counter to the instructions, instead of using the display mounting frame on the dash, I used it to mount the camera to point out the rear window. It’s convenient to have a push button on/off switch on the end of the cigarette lighter power plug which controls whether the display is active/on or not. With the camera setup on the inside rear window angled down to the pavement, I was able to get a nice rear view. It was a wide view and the image was clear on the display. This will work very well for me during the day – mostly to make it easier to get in and out of tight parking spots. Unfortunately, the backup camera did not work as well for me with it purposely installed (improperly) on the inside of the rear window at night. The LED lights auto-sense the low light conditions and power on as they should. My problem was that the lights are needed in the dark, but they create so much window glare from their position at the window that the actual image outside is unviewable. To be clear - This is not the manufacturer’s fault. It is my fault. I’m currently experimenting with making a customized dark cowel to surround the camera and lights and have it extend all the way to the window where it will be securely attached. This should help minimize the glare – possibly enough to make nightime viewing possible in a limited way. I will continue to use the backup camera because I like the extra rear view I am able to clearly get during the day. It’s nice. I would give this backup camera a 5-star review, but I’m only giving it a 4-star review because the documention was too limited and caused me to waste a fair amount of time during the installation process. ... show more

  • HONEST REVIEWER
Size: 1 Camera
I let my husband put this on the vehicle and when he saw the wires that is needed to connect it together, he was in shock as to how much the company added to the order!! Overall, he loves it as the vehicle we put it on didn’t have a backup camera. It has been a blessing to help out while backing up. PROS: •Clear image. •Easy to set up. •Works great at night due to LED lighting. CONS: •You can leave it on overnight if you don’t turn it off! Be careful. ... show more

Large Learning Curve for myriad of features. – I had to have RV sales lot perform the installation This is a fantastic Backup Camera system, and etc.. The installation was beyond my abilities. So to not having to worry about having a vehicle electric fire, I hired a the RV equipment sales company install it. It is hard wired and those wires must be road travel secure and then there is the hookup connection between the towing truck and the trailer. All of the features I have managed to learn to access are amazing. I think this system would have no problems at all for the generation of youngsters that have been exposed to computers from Kindergarten. ... show more
