Fantastic for SUP’ing, keeps our boards from drifting when we find a sweet spot. At 1.5 lbs, it’s the lightest one I could find and the best price as well. The carry bag keeps it together until needed and takes up a minuscule amount of room. Very happy with this purchase.

    • Perfect for a paddleboard!
I really wanted an anchor for my paddlboard, Some days I'm just more in the mood to paddle out to the middle of the lake and crack open a beverage while I relax and tan. Unfortunately, unlike a kayak, it's very difficult to hold a paddle and not spill a drink at the same time (especially if your board is inflatable and has no cupholders). As soon as you relax you start floating away. The other problem with paddleboards is there isn't a lot of storage, so I didn't want an anchor that was going to be bulky or heavy and be cumbersome to paddle with. This anchor is perfect! It folds up very small and fits easily in my surf sack. It's not super heavy but still holds pretty well. I wouldn't use it in any major waves, but for a calm day on an inland lake it works perfectly. I've never noticed myself drifting when I've used it. The rope is only about 15 feet - so again, not designed for big bodies of water, but I've never had a problem in the canals and smaller lakes I've used it in. I'm very pleased with my purchase! Worked great. Smaller than expected had a hard time securing anchor especially on wavy days ( Great Lakes) but works great for floating on a floaties tied together friends and staying in place.

I simply love this product, I take it every time I go paddle just in case I want to hang out on the lake and rest or do SUP Yoga. It's light weight, easy to pack and have had zero issues with it. Totally worth the money,

Quality product! Holds down my 11' iSUP just fine in one spot in calm waters. If there are waves or crazy currents its not enough. Everything about this product and the quality is well-done and I have nothing bad to say about it.

    • Awesome Anchor Kit
This anchor worked well this past summer. I used it many times with my 12ft fishing kayak. It worked better than I expected as I seen some reviews stating it would not hold their kayak in place but it held mine every time which made it a pleasure to fish in the wind. I use this kit with a drivers reel and a float so if I do get caught up, I can release it from my kayak and go back and get my anchor without losing it. ... show more

    • Not sturdy
The anchor itself is great but the attached clip is cheap. Used this specifically for fishing on a paddle board and the clip snapped off after the 3rd use and as a result lost the entire anchor to the bottom of the river. Would love a refund.

    • short leash
this little guy is *almost* perfect for the puget sound. i had to add a LOT of length to its leash for tides/currents, even super close to shore (50ft). i also think it wasn’t as dense as it could be. added some hy-80 to keep it stable in deeper/current waters. a great anchor for a lake, however!
