This set is easy to assemble although the instructions could be more detailed. If any doubts just check the picture on the cover and assemble accordingly. Quality of materials are fine and so far no issues with that. Set is large enough to be used by kids and adults. Mash on the drums is pretty elastic though firm. Not firm as the real drums but still very good quality. Time will tell how durable it really is. It makes so much fun using this drum set and the price and value are great. Product was packed well and assembled quickly. All components were in perfect condition and worked correctly. Note to drummers: The kit is a bit "short" for adults, but if you don't mind setting your throne lower to get the correct snare height, you can have a lot of fun with this setup. It has limited dynamic range with the single zone pads. However, since it is advertised as a "beginner" kit, I can't complain. All-in-all, a good value, nice small foot print in my studio, and easy to use with laptop (did need to purchase a 1/8 to 1/8 connecting cable separately.) And 2 free pair of drumsticks--whoopie! This is an excellent starter kit for beginning drummers. It’s fairly easy to set up and start playing. I haven't had the chance to try out many of the features, but have played around with the preset drum kits and they all sound good. The pads are strike sensitive and respond well to how hard they’re hit. My son has enjoyed playing along to the preset songs installed. And we’ve had fun connecting the phone via Bluetooth and playing along to songs. Cons: The set may be a bit small for a large adult. I’m 6’1” and it feels just a little cramped and low. The size is PERFECT for a younger/smaller drummer however. Also if you are drumming at a very high bpm, it doesn't seem to be able to register each strike fully. Again, not a problem for beginners. While you can connect your phone via bluetooth, There doesn't seem to be a way to output the sound via bluetooth to a bluetooth speaker, which would be a really nice feature. The instructions are not helpful in setting this up, if it is possible. As of now, I have it hooked up to an external speaker via stereo output. Overall, I would definitely recommend. Great drum set! Bought it for my 11 year old son. Easy to setup-He was able to set it up with very little help in about 30 minutes. Once set up we found the sound to be great and the controls easy to figure out. There are lots of options. Unfortunately the base pedal was not working at first. The company was amazing when I reached out for support. They helped me trouble shoot and were very responsive. I connected with them via phone, Facebook and email - all of which where responded to. They sent me a replacement part and when that did not work they sent a new set! While waiting for the set to be fixed my son figured out how to change the sound on the individual drums and adjusted tom 4 to sound like a bass so he could still make some use of it. the new set has worked perfectly! Really great company, glad we just reached out rather than returning. Thank you to everyone at Fesley who helped us! ... show more

I’ve had these drums for about a month now. So far I’m really happy with them. I decided I wanted to learn how to play the drums. These were a happy compromise with my husband because I can practice with the headphones and not bother other people in the house. They were a little tricky to assemble but we got it figured out! They sound pretty good for electronic drums. I do like that I can adjust the sounds to get different drum sounds based on what song I want to play. I love that it records your playing. I like that it will make the clicking sound to help with counting. Overall I’m pretty happy with them. They’re great for someone who is just learning to play. ... show more

Great little kit. The operative word, unfortunately, is little. Perhaps I should have researched this a bit more but, this kit appears to be intended for very small people (kids). I have the kit propped up on plastic milk cartons which works for now.
