From what I can tell this is a pretty good set. Assembly is relatively easy, but does take some time. The cables and individual drums are nicely labeled so it's easy to see where everything needs to be connected. I like that I can connect headphones and play without bugging everyone else in the house. I think I will give this set to my son (10 years old), to play with and see if he is interested in learning the drums further. I am sure it will keep him busy for quite awhile. Playing through the headphones, the sound from the drums is great. I have not attempted to use the Bluetooth or MIDI functions. So, I cannot say how the sound quality is when played externally. I like that you can select different drum kits and get an entirely different sound. I'm not quite sure how to make use of the voice function yet and I wish there were more built in demo songs, I'm not really a fan of any of the 10 demos. The instructions on operating it and actually learning the drums could be better
