I have used numerous wrist braces that I have bought on Amazon; most were just okay. This Featol wrist brace is truly excellent. My wrist size is exactly 7" and the S/M version fit perfectly. It is extremely comfortable w/soft interior materials and there is a slot for the gel pack inside which is placed in the correct position to cool the underside of the wrist. This slot is slightly too narrow for the pack but w/some adjustments can work. The straps are terrific in that each one is a different length up and down the brace. That allows for "micro" adjustments to be made for tightness. THE BEST PART: the Velcro attachment pads work together and not w/one pad hooking onto the exterior nylon fabric. Thus, there will be no pilling or fuzz over the long run. The stitching is also perfectly done and placed. This is an item that you will truly get your money's worth! I broke my wrist in two places. They put a splint over the elbow on it in the emergency room that day. I had surgery a week and a half later. Following surgery they had just put a shorter fiberglass (?) splint roughly the same length as this brace. The splint was sort of pokey on the ends, so I ordered the brace a week later. It’s working out really well. It is easy to take it off to change the dressing over the staples. I can also adjust how tight it is depending on swelling, and what not. I had a follow up visit today. This is a very good wrist brace. I have had carpal tunnel in both wrists...3 whole years before I got surgery. Trust me when I say that I have gone through A LOT of wrist braces. Occasionally I still get pain in my wrists, and wear a wrist brace to bed. This one has 3 straps, which gives you the ability to actually tighten/loosen around the wrist, the stay (the metal bar) is perfectly formed to keep your wrist straight, and from moving, yet allows you to rest the palm of your hand on it as well. The wrist brace is very soft and cushy where it needs to be, and there are no sharp corners, or anything that rubs on your skin. The thumb opening has ample room for your thumb. It is a very rigid, very well made wrist brace, that is very comfortable to wear. I gave it a full 5 stars, because it deserves it!! The only downside that I can see is that it's kind of bulky, but that's all that cushioning...it's a good thing! I got the L/XL, and it fits my chubby arm, with plenty of room to spare too! ... show more

I used this after a wrist sprain from a bicycle accident. It really helped immobilize my wrist joint and reduced my level of pain. It's very easy to put on and take off with one hand. The Velcro adjustments work great. Comfort is good, although it chafes my hand with very prolonged wear, like overnight. There's no helping it getting dirty or sweaty if you wear it all the time like I did, cutting the grass and working out, etc. So I bought a second one so I can wear a clean/dry one while the other is getting washed. I purchased this for my 19-year-old daughter who started complaining about her right wrist hurting her. She is on her computer non-stop. She also sits in a weird position that causes her hand to hang off the desk. I wasn't surprised when she told me her wrist hurt. After I lectured her for probably the 50th time about the way she lounges at her desk, I ordered this brace. She occasionally corrected her "lazy slouch laying" position and wore this brace during the day. She wore it while she was at the computer. She said her wrist was definitely starting to feel better. I asked her if she was having any place where it was rubbing or causing any chafing and it wasn't. She said it was not causing her any pain or discomfort anywhere. I started having carpal tunnel type issues so I did some reading then came on here to find a brace. I ended up getting one for each side as I think I have some arthritis as well. The reviews seemed to jive with what I needed so I chose to give it a go. This was my second attempt at a brace. I recommend this one. For having small hands I found it better because it was adjustable in 3 places but the straps are very versatile. If I am more swollen or not the brace is still breathable but firm. I found I can still move around some even if both arms are in the braces. I got them for sleeping as sometimes I bend my hands or arms funny and wake up in pain but if I wear them due to arthritis pain I have some mobility and don't find it completely restrictive which is what I was nervous about, I didn't want to feel like I was wearing a cast. Iwear the right one more as that is where most my issues are but i find both to be helpful. One thing I regret is is when I went to purchase I didn't think I'd need the kind with the ice pack. Ironically the other day I wished to myself I had gotten that one, I should have spent a couple bucks more for that option as a just incase. ... show more

I ordered this after straining my wrist. It's good quality, durable, and helped to stabilize my wrist. It wasn't quite as stable as I was hoping for, but it helped. I did measure my wrist beforehand, and although it fit, I wish I would have gone with the smaller size to get a tighter fit. I'm giving the range of motion 3 stars because it kept my arm stable, but I could move it more than I actually wanted to. As for comfort, it's alright...after several hours though, it was somewhat bothersome. Overall, it's a good product and I'm glad to have it around in case of future injuries. ... show more
