I'm an absolute absolute paddleboarding beginner. If you are too, then this review is for you. I'd read a bunch of reviews about this and to be fair I think those are from more advanced users. And most don't apply to beginners. The things I liked: 1. Easy to fill up- The pump is single action and takes me exactly 5 minutes (i timed it) to fill the board to 12psi. The pump feels like a reasonable quality piece of kit. Not too good but not too rubbish either. A lot of people have complained about the pump in other reviews, i didn't find any reason to complain. Infact I'd bought an attachment to connect the board to my car inflator but haven't felt the need to use it. 2. The colours - it is a beautiful looking board. The colours are vibrant and the board is very eye catching. Ofcourse this can be very subjective. 3. It feels well built - nothing on the board feels cheap. The quality of the handle, the bungee cord, the inlet valve all feel like heavy duty. 4. Very stable and easy to maneuver - it is extraordinarily stable. Ideal if you're a beginner. Not to say that i didn't fall off of it. I did. But its a very stable board otherwise and generates a sense of confidence for a new boarder. 5. Carrying capacity - the picture is of one such test. 4 women. Totaling up to about 170 kg. Didn't seem like a problem. Rated at about 150kgs. 6. 3 fin setup - gives you choices and options for stability and maneuverability. The only board in this range where i saw the option for 3 fins. Things that could be better 1. The bag - its a low quality unbranded, plain black bag. Not sure how long this will last but it just about does the job for now. EDIT - I contacted customer service about the poor quality of the bag and how it was starting to get damaged and they were very very responsive - they offered me an option for their grey carry bag - which you see on the listing or a $30 refund to purchase my own bag - I have opted for the latter. Will update this review as and when I receive the new bag. Irrespective a huge thumbs up for CC responsiveness and customer focus. 2. The leash - should've been a little longer or a telephone cord type. It gets caught in the fins sometimes. Especially when you're getting back on after hitting the drink and you have 3 fins on. You also can only comfortably mount from one side - depending on which foot you're wearing the leash on. 3. The valve - on my second use, after pumping it up, as soon as i released the inlet hose the valve let pretty much all of the air out. This was fixed with a valve tightening tool that comes in the bag. I was just a bit surprised to see this on such a new board. Perhaps this happens often. As a noob i don't really know if this is an issue. These are very minor issues compared to the massive pluses for this board. Real steal if you get it around $200.

I have yet to be able to get all of the fins in, it is a really tight fit. I think it is a manufacturing error and that is why so many of them were sold at discount. I have run across several other people with the same board who had the same problem. Someone suggested using a lubricant to slide them in (didn't work for me) or a hair dryer to soften the plastic and make it more pliable (I haven't attempted to do this yet). But I think the best suggestion is to sandpaper it down a little bit. I will be trying this before I take it out again. The last couple times I have used it I was able to get the big one in and paddled just fine with only that one, but it would be nice to have all three attached. Other than the fin issue, I like the board. It is pretty and I feel stable standing on it.

The paddleboard itself is very thick and solid, with excellent durability. The carrying bag is convenient and comes as a backpack, making it easy to transport. However, the pump is not ideal—it’s too exhausting to use.

This paddle board is wide and sturdy but absolutely useless without the middle longest fin. That fin is the most important thing for steering. The mechanism to slide the fin in is overly complicated and not designed correctly. I spent 40 minutes trying to knock it into place and it would. Not. Go. We ended up using a zip tie to keep it in place. And when that broke, I was left doing double the work to get my board to paddle straight. Do not buy this board. *editing* I tried to take this board out again and even with a zip tie in place, dense weeds knocked It! out and it was dragging and again double the work to get back to the dock. The pump is faulty and does NOT pump to pressure. It’s too cheaply made, once you hit about 8lbs psi, air starts leaking out of the pump. This is so terrible. I’m so sad that I wasted money on this.

It’s not super lightweight because it’s sturdy, but I can carry it myself. The design offers excellent balance, making it perfect for beginners. It takes about 10 minutes to inflate the board with the manual pump. If you want to save energy, it’s better to get an electric pump. Overall, it’s a great investment.
