The media could not be loaded. Initially I purchased a traditional Paddleboard as I felt that an inflatable one would be too flimsy but the hard shell one was was too heavy and awkward to lift and put on the roof rack so I “settled” for this inflatable instead but let me tell you, this is not settling!! It is just as great as the hard shell one I bought for my young grandsons and so convenient with everything you need in the backpack bag which is easy to carry as well!! It fully supported my grown adult son and I at a combined weight of around 300#. It’s easy to inflate with the hand pump and I’m very happy with my purchase! ... show more

I'm very happy with this paddle board. It's my first, and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money to discover if I did or didn't like the sport. The low price concerned me though; would I get a crummy product? No! It's not crummy at all. I've only got good things to say about it and the seller. Based on the other inflatable boards I've seen it doesn't seem much different. Manually pumping it up took me about 10 minutes, but it was hard work. I ended up buying an electric pump to save back, but it's certainly not necessary. I inflate the board to about 12.5 psi (the user manual says 12 psi, label on the board say maximum is 15 psi). This creates a ridged and firm ride. I was concerned about the black pad area on the surface getting hot, but that does not seem to happen. It gets wet (at least it does after I fall off and get back on the board), so water keeps it cool. As for customer service the seller was very responsive replying with a couple hours on a Sunday, the day before 4th of July. The pump hose was damaged in shipping. Everything was very well and securely packaged, so I'm not sure how it happened. A replacement hose was sent out promptly, and I was in the water the next weekend. There are a couple reviews I read that concerned me -- one was about the board being unstable. I'm a not terribly athletic 5'11" male who weighs about 180 lbs. No issues at all maintaining stability with this board, my size and lack of experience whether I'm standing, sitting or lying on the board. I'm able to move between those positions without much difficulty. I use the board in a largish local lake with some moderate waves. Another review talked about the fins coming off. I have to work to get them off when I want to remove them. If the clips were damaged or put in the wrong direction, I might understand that happening though. Certainly not something I'm worried about anymore. I paid only $170 + tax for nearly the cheapest board on Amazon (as I write this). If I can convince one of my friends to join me, I will recommend they buy this board and from feath-r-lite even at a higher price. ... show more

Update 5/9/20: So after several uses, the boards are STILL awesome. My husband and I have taken our dogs out on the boards as well with no issues. The boards have still held up well. Initially, I was worried about the dogs' nails on the board as it is inflatable, but it seems to be a non-issue. Also, the paddles float! Which is really important when you fall off of your board lol. The one concern that we have is that one of the paddles that we received has a loose bolt connector, so it shifts up and down when paddling and comes apart. For now, as we still get used to paddling, we haven't needed the top part of the paddle. I will be contacting the company to see about a replacement and update when I receive a response. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This board is awesome! I took it out of the packaging and was concerned at first because it is an inflatable SUP. But you would never guess that by the time that you finish inflating it. It is so sturdy and doesn't indent at all. And the absolute best part about this is that its LIGHT. If you've ever carried a SUP after several hours of paddling, you know you are exhausted (at least I was the first several times I was on one and even now) but with this SUP being as light as it is, I won't have to worry too much about lugging it to the car since I can either use the handle in the middle (It's very conveniently placed) or I can deflate it and stick it in the pack that it comes with. The pack is just like a big canvas backpack. There is PLENTY of room for all of the equipment, and then some. I could probably fit my folding chair in the bag as well. There's a drawstring at the top, so that's super helpful if it accidentally flips over. Overall, it took about 20-25 mins of using the manual air pump to get it to the proper PSI. I just got it to the very bottom line, and it was sturdy, but I might recommend getting it to at least the middle of the recommended PSI range. The paddle is made of aluminum, which I was very pleased with. I was concerned that it could have been made with some cheap plastic, which could break when I'm out on the water. But everything in this set so far has been fantastic. Overall, I'm really impressed with the quality of this inflatable SUP. It looks and feels like it has been made well, and I wouldn't be worried about bringing my dogs aboard either, as the vinyl is really thick and durable. I haven't taken the board out on the water yet, its been far too cold unfortunately, but I'll update with pictures and a further review with how it is once I do! ... show more
