I'm an absolute absolute paddleboarding beginner. If you are too, then this review is for you. I'd read a bunch of reviews about this and to be fair I think those are from more advanced users. And most don't apply to beginners. The things I liked: 1. Easy to fill up- The pump is single action and takes me exactly 5 minutes (i timed it) to fill the board to 12psi. The pump feels like a reasonable quality piece of kit. Not too good but not too rubbish either. A lot of people have complained about the pump in other reviews, i didn't find any reason to complain. Infact I'd bought an attachment to connect the board to my car inflator but haven't felt the need to use it. 2. The colours - it is a beautiful looking board. The colours are vibrant and the board is very eye catching. Ofcourse this can be very subjective. 3. It feels well built - nothing on the board feels cheap. The quality of the handle, the bungee cord, the inlet valve all feel like heavy duty. 4. Very stable and easy to maneuver - it is extraordinarily stable. Ideal if you're a beginner. Not to say that i didn't fall off of it. I did. But its a very stable board otherwise and generates a sense of confidence for a new boarder. 5. Carrying capacity - the picture is of one such test. 4 women. Totaling up to about 170 kg. Didn't seem like a problem. Rated at about 150kgs. 6. 3 fin setup - gives you choices and options for stability and maneuverability. The only board in this range where i saw the option for 3 fins. Things that could be better 1. The bag - its a low quality unbranded, plain black bag. Not sure how long this will last but it just about does the job for now. EDIT - I contacted customer service about the poor quality of the bag and how it was starting to get damaged and they were very very responsive - they offered me an option for their grey carry bag - which you see on the listing or a $30 refund to purchase my own bag - I have opted for the latter. Will update this review as and when I receive the new bag. Irrespective a huge thumbs up for CC responsiveness and customer focus. 2. The leash - should've been a little longer or a telephone cord type. It gets caught in the fins sometimes. Especially when you're getting back on after hitting the drink and you have 3 fins on. You also can only comfortably mount from one side - depending on which foot you're wearing the leash on. 3. The valve - on my second use, after pumping it up, as soon as i released the inlet hose the valve let pretty much all of the air out. This was fixed with a valve tightening tool that comes in the bag. I was just a bit surprised to see this on such a new board. Perhaps this happens often. As a noob i don't really know if this is an issue. These are very minor issues compared to the massive pluses for this board. Real steal if you get it around $200. ... show more

It's super light but feels sturdy and easy to handle in all kinds of water. The setup with fewer accessories is a plus if you've got your own gear. Amazing stability and smooth riding, totally recommend! I've tried using my regular pump for outdoor sleeping bags on the FEATH-R-LITE Paddle Board, and it didn't work out. However, a bike pump with the attached converter does the job well. I takes about 20-30 minutes to pump though. If you're thinking about this board, definitely go with an auto pump for an easier setup. Totally worth it for the water fun! ... show more

I have yet to be able to get all of the fins in, it is a really tight fit. I think it is a manufacturing error and that is why so many of them were sold at discount. I have run across several other people with the same board who had the same problem. Someone suggested using a lubricant to slide them in (didn't work for me) or a hair dryer to soften the plastic and make it more pliable (I haven't attempted to do this yet). But I think the best suggestion is to sandpaper it down a little bit. I will be trying this before I take it out again. The last couple times I have used it I was able to get the big one in and paddled just fine with only that one, but it would be nice to have all three attached. Other than the fin issue, I like the board. It is pretty and I feel stable standing on it. ... show more

Update customer service has been great so far, they are sending out replacement fins and hopefully clips to. So update my review after the new fins come in. Although I will add that my friend just got this same board for mother day and the fins are the regular normal fins most boards come with. Same exact board, so I'm very curious to understand why some have the weird interlocking fins and other have the smooth fins. Hope they send me the right fins!! The board is beautiful I love it. Although the fins don't fit at all. When I was able to get just one on the clip that came with it snapped in half. So there I am at the water and can't use the board cause i can't get the fins on. Poor fin design since they are too big for the place they fit into and poor clips made from very flimsy plastic. I can't find a way to contact the company at all. I go to do a return and it wants me to pay over 80 bucks to return it!!! So maybe just maybe the company will see this and reach out to me to tell me what they can do about a board i can't use because I can't get the fins on because they are too big to be placed in where they belong and clips that I can no longer use cause they are snapped in half. I'm sure my reviews will change if I was able to actual use the beautiful board. ... show more
