  • Strong and sturdy!
Size: L10'xW7'xH7'
So far so good. We have a few feral cats in the back and wanted to keep them warm this winter. Put it on our porch, that has a roof and secured the greenhouse with brick at the bottom and we tied rope to our four posts. We will see how it goes.

  • One of the nicest portable greenhouses I have seen, excellent valueI
Size: L10'xW7'xH7'
I have a raft of different sized portable greenhouses from raised bed 3 x 3 to row long ones to walk-ins. This is by far the most for the money. The poles are a little sturdier than the typical "tinker toy" ones that have poles with the green plastic connectors. I have at least five different brands of these and while they are interchangeable, this particular brand has a little thicker metal and plastic. The cover is also the same fabric that is commonly used but the zippers are heavier and the stitch length shorter than most of the others I have. There are also windows which is uncommon for smaller greenhouses. Most importantly, the zippers are much stronger. That is the failure point on most of my covers and I don't expect to have the same problems with this one. It has been up for six weeks now and through a several inch (not heavy) snow as well as a couple of moderate windstorms (20 mph, not a gale). I have it staked down and tied off. I also opened the windows when the wind came up to sheer off some of the billowing. It is important to keep in mind this is a temporary shelter for your plants, so don't expect it to stay together through a full winter if you live in a heavy snow area or survive if you park it in the middle of a windy field. I have had it in three locations now. First, I set it up on my slanted mulch-covered back area where I used it to cover me as I made several thousand soil blocks. I also stored my soil amendments in it. I loved being able to roll my dump wagon in the "tent" at the end of the day knowing things would not get snowed or rained on. After my seedlings started coming along I put them in the greenhouse during the day and brought them in during the night. Once it warmed up and I could plant, I moved the whole kit and caboodle and plopped it over one of my raised beds that is 12 x 4. I turned it so that there was room to cover the bed and set up some shelves for nursery starts when it is still too cold for them to stay unprotected but they are getting too big for inside. As soon as the weather warms up in June and the night time temperatures are only in the 40s, I will take it down and then move it to cover my tomato bed for the fall. It is so tall they will be comfy even after growing all summer. It will winter in the garden storage shed to emerge for several years to come. ... show more

  • UPDATE - STOP LEAVING 5 STARS!
Size: L10'xW7'xH7'
This was my original review; “Really nice temporary portable if you can shelter it from the wind. We placed it on the south side of our house to protect it from the north wind and so far so good. Placed it on a cement patio which they do not recommend but we weighted it down from the inside. Pretty sure it isn't going anywhere. Would buy again.” Here’s the reality; This thing was a piece of crap. It turns into a parachute when the wind kicks up and no amount of anchoring will hold it down. They redesigned all of the cheap plastic connectors because they were cheap junk. Now you bolt it together and plant the extended posts which will likely be an improvement but it will still not last. The cover tore in several places from the wind rustling it. As you seen in other reviews, if you can use it inside or in a zero wind environment, it would be fine. Like if you wanted to set it up in a warehouse. What prompted me to update was because I saw the latest revision and a picture of the stakes that are supposed to tie this thing down. What a joke. It shows how the cheapest materials are being used to maximize returns. I guarantee all of the 4 and 5 star ratings were from folks who did not own this product for more than a week. It looks ok when you first put it up but it will not last more than a season and that will be with constant repair and re-setting. You can make something better with PVC pipe and a tarp. If you buy one, wait until after you’ve had it a season to review to help prevent others from wasting their money. ... show more

  • Great Greenhouse but now overpriced!
Size: L10'xW7'xH7'
This greenhouse is great! The Velcro on the window flaps is not lined up with the velcro on the greenhouse so you cannot get a tight shut to the window flaps. Also, there is a very slight sinking of the cover between the arches. If there was one more support on each side halfway between the current one and the top, this would be perfect. These are the reasons for the one less star. Otherwise, I would have given it five stars. It does get cold in there so I have put a small ceramic heater in mine and have it on my back deck up against my enclosed porch as you can see in the picture. We have had winds up to 25 mph and heavy rains since I purchased this about a month ago. This greenhouse made it through both fantastically. I did tuck the two or three extra inches of cover underneath the green house instead of outward and put bricks around those edges inside instead of on the outside as most do. I am very pleased with it and thankful that I purchased it when I did because the price has more than doubled now. I would have to say that I would NOT pay what they are asking now. Mine was $69.99. ... show more

  • Very disappointing
Size: L10'xW7'xH7'
I'm very disappointing with this product and have several issues with it. The first is the sewn in ties to the canvas to tie them to the poles are way to short and most of them can not be uses. Several of them have a very short end and a very long end. The second issue I have with the green house is that the 2 window flaps can not be closed/sealed to keep the warm air in. There are only 2 small Velcro tabs at the bottom of the flap that hold the window in place. Definitely not usable in cold weather. The metal poles that are used as a frame have already bent and its only been up for 4 days (no high winds). In a very light breeze (3-5 mph) the canvas floats up and the metal poles come out of the plastic connectors and the frame falls apart. The guide line that comes with the greenhouse does nothing to stop it. The short "stakes" that came with the greenhouse are short, about 6-8 inches and about the diameter of a wire cloths hanger that bends easily. It will not hold anything to the ground. I doubt the greenhouse will last 2 weeks without heavy modification. My money would have been better spent buying some 2x4s and some clear plastic. ... show more
