Here is what you need to know about this bean bag. THE GOOD - It does arrive in a large box and it is filled and ready to use. Very great. - The fabric is a type of micro-fiber that feels like suede. Very soft, comfortable and still breathable. Everything about the fabric says comfort and quality. Surprisingly it doesn’t seem to be a lint magnet. - It does have double zippers which require a paper clip to open. So, yes small children or well protected from consuming the small styrofoam pieces. - Can be comfortable but not always. More on comfort in the next section. THE BAD - While the bean bag does not look that small, it does “sit small”. It is more of a kids sized bean bag. That said, for adults we found that it works great as a back support for sitting on carpet (see attached photo). Very great for this in fact. Very comfortable. If a teen or adult sits directly on it, it kind of feels more like a soft stool or backless bench. - The foam beads or nice and stiff but are large enough that they do not perfectly contour to your body. Not bad, but just don’t expect iit to feel like the bags of yester-year which actually had beans. In the end, the nice fabric and perect back support for floor reclining are the positives that outweigh the bad. We do recommend it just as long as you understand what you are getting. ... show more

This bean bag is exquisite. The fabric is soft and luxurious—you can see it is made of high-quality material. The stitching work on the bean bag is impeccably executed, and each seam is double-stitched with heavy-duty thread. The bean bag is double-bagged and double-zippered, so if the outer zipper is accidentally opened, the beans won't spill everywhere. The zippers also do not have a pull tag; they can only be opened utilizing a paper clip—this prevents accidental opening. Keep in mind this beanbag is made for kids, it's smaller than traditional beanbags. It will sit short for an adult (meaning it will only handle your butt, not your butt and back. To accomplish butt and back support you will practically be sitting on the floor). The beanbag is more rigid than old-fashioned beanbags that conform to however you plop onto it. This bean bag will not conform as much, but the flip side is that it offers more support. If you sit on it, it won't displace and eventually fall out from underneath you, the shape will be maintained. The other thing I love about this bean bag is that it does not look like a kids beanbag, it it lush and looks like a designer item instead of a kids toy. It fits in with "adult" furniture - in my living room it looks like a floor poof and goes very well with my decor. ... show more

I got this beanbag to go in my little reading book. It’s a beautiful color and the fabric is soft and well made. For a smaller adult, teen or child, it’s the perfect size. This beanbag also comes ready to use, filled, out of the box! No waiting for it to inflate or dealing with the mess. This was a huge bonus to me. Overall a great quality beanbag that is comfortable and filled just enough to be supportive. I got the microsuede material in the aloe color and I really like the look and feel of it. The color is pretty accurate to the way it looks in the square sample. The material is nice and soft and feels pretty thick like it should last a while. The only one downside to me is that I wish it were a little bit bigger. It’s not tiny, but I remember bean bag chairs being bigger than this. I could be remembering wrong though, or maybe it seemed bigger when I was young. ... show more

It's a fun little bean bag. The material is nice and so is the color. Great chair for kids and teens. Might hurt your back if you were born before 95. I wish the bbs inside were a little smaller, but it's a pretty nice chair.
