This is an amazing bookshelf that isn't too difficult to assemble (the items can get heavy). The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I tested this adding a bunch of textbooks to a single shelf and it felt very sturdy; either-way, 150lbs is very hard to pull off with books. I sure some of you will use this for more than just books, but when you hold these long pieces of wood you right away feel how incredibly sturdy they are. The fact that there is another support in between the wood makes even MORE sturdy. It looks very nice in the living room as well. I just want to say I LOVE this bookshelf. I am so happy I waited a year to find the perfect book shelf, this was well worth the wait. It is amazing and I really hope this amazon "store" exists forever, or at least until I get everything I want. I was close to buying a 700 dollar book shelf, but thankfully I found this. Much more affordable and nicer. It looks beautiful and leaves plenty of room for books; I am excited to be able to have an excuse to buy more books :) Lastly, I still cannot believe how high-quality this feels. Exactly what I was looking for for my home office. It was easy to put together, there was no damage to any of the pieces and nothing was missing. I have bought a different shelf from the same seller in the past and still love it. I just purchased a desk as well!!

I’ve bought 2 different style shelves now and they look nice and are solid I love how they organize the screws etc etc and number and label them with how many of each. Match up with photos in instruction booklet and it’s very EZ. I’m 76 (hate puttin’ stuff together) and did them myself watching a movie in couple hours at most. Always scan steps and match up pieces first !!! And lay out for EZ grabbing. And leave screws a little loose as they tell you. These are the must-do laws of assembling I’ve now accepted (no ha!) and these turned out perfect in first shot! ... show more

I first got one to put my vinyl collection on and it ended up being perfect. Other cube like shelves have a weight limit of like 20-30lbs, and vinyl records are surprisingly heavy. After getting one and seeing how solid it is, I bought a second one to store more vinyl records. It's really easy to put together, but it is a bit of a workout. I’m really pleased with this bookshelf and think it’s very reasonably priced. The directions were very easy to follow, and all the tools came in individually sealed baggies labeled by letter so there was no confusion when putting it together. Took me and one other person about 30-40 minutes. Sturdy materials, nice wood coloring, looks just like the pictures! If you follow the directions and don’t tighten all the screws until the very end you won’t have problems with alignment… but the directions tell you this about 50 times so it’s hard to forget lol. The only not so aesthetically pleasing piece is the straps you have to use to anchor it to the wall… but not a huge biggie- better to be safe. I purchased this shelf for my home office. It’s a very nice quality. I had one minor issue which the company addressed immediately without any hesitation. It took me and my hubby about 45 minutes to assemble but we took our time. The instructions were easy to follow. Due to size/ weight, you need a second person to lift it after assembly.
