The products seems to be very well made. They come as a 2 pack so you can have different discs if different grits on each. These can be used with a air compressor die grinder or on practically any electric or battery operated drill to be able to sand whatever you need sanding. To me these work best on smaller projects. They use the Roloc quick change screw on/off sanding discs. I personally like the quick change screw on/off sanding discs over the conventional hook and loop discs because of their ease of use and quick changeability. Overall I would definitely recommend the product to anyone needing to sand small surface areas. Of course these do not come with the Roloc quick change sanding discs, but they can be easily purchased thru Amazon.com or most any local auto parts or auto paint supply store. ... show more

Great value here. You do not typically go through these, just the discs that screw into them. Nice to have two for a good price so that you can have them in multiple tools or locations. I need to pick up more. The disc screws in and is held in place until you accidentally reverse the disc direction and it unscrews. The locking nut helps it stay on, but add a bit of pressure and time, it will unscrew if you use it in reverse. The rubber backing is flexible to allow your roloc disc to form to the surface. ... show more

The Fibvaxm (2 Pack) 2 inch Die Grinder Sanding Disc and 1/4 Shank is a GREAT value at a fraction of the cost of the name brand 3M Disc Holder (I paid around $20 for mine). I have owned a 3M Disc Holder for many years and needed a secone one for a large task. I found the Fibvaxm listing on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It is a great value and is up to the task. The one different is that the shank and mounting threads of the Fibvaxm are smaller in diameter than the shank of the 3M brand item. This may not hold up to years of use like the 3M model, but for two of these disc holders for $5 ... I don't see how you can go wrong. I included a photo showing the Fibvaxm next to the 3M version so that you could have a visual comparison. ... show more

The disks and pads are consumable, these mandrel mounts are not. They will last through dozens if not hundreds of sanding disks, flap disks, polishing buffs, scouring pads etc. Which are cheaply available in a very wide assortment of types and grits.     • Quality replacement for 3M backers and pads, work great on HF and other brands of abrasive pads.
I ordered these to replace other backers where I had used the pad too far and damaged them. These hold the abrasive pads great and fit well in the pneumatic tools. I am happy with the quality of the rubber as it is firm but has a bit of flex at the very ends. Quality OEM replacements!

    • Off-balance immediately - super vibrating on die grinder
These are way off balance, slightly off centered as far as I can tell, which results in pretty insane vibrations about 10,000 rpm on a die grinder. Definitely look for something a little higher quality if you're going to use them more than every once in a blue moon.
