This micro-zip gator sander is awesome! (& also quite ideal when sanding down any wood/pre made pieces) such as furniture or cabinets. (For ex those that carvings) like; beveled edges or vintage inserts etc) . I am currently revamping my cabinets in my kitchen & they have soft squares in the wood. The decorative edged areas, especially corners where my sheet sander or my orbital cannot reach without causing damage). The micros-sander by Gator does the trick ! It works really well in these difficult to sand areas. My only negative remark about this item is costs. It is amazing how many time I have found this little sander to be the perfect tool for a project. I didn’t know what I was missing until I got this!! I enjoy crafting with wood blanks, usually from Dollar Tree. They sometimes require sanding to make them smooth and easier to work on. This compact sander really does a great job. I love this mini sander and use it for small and large jobs. Hardly ever use my electric sander anymore. This one is so easy to handle and is great for spontaneous small sanding jobs. A must have for any painting project.

I use this primarily for building model rockets. It's a nice size for detailed work. The ability to change the sheets quickly with different grits is very convenient. I took off one star because the price seems outrageous for what you get. But it solves a lot of tricky sanding problems where you need to sand in tight spaces that are impossible of standard sanding blocks. Inexpensive and very handy around the wood shop. Fits the hand/fingers very well, with its rounded shape and indented sides. I have several lying around that I use for fine sanding of small areas.
