I ordered this watch because I liked the sleek design, and overall I’m very pleased with it. The listing describes it as a youth wristwatch, but the face is a bit larger than I would typically expect for younger kids. In my opinion, it’s better suited for mid-to-late teens and adults. The style is very versatile and could easily work for either men or women. The watch itself has a nice weight to it, which makes it feel like a quality piece rather than something flimsy. The band features two different colors, giving it a stylish look that works well in both casual and more formal settings. In addition to the time, the watch also displays the day of the week and the day of the month, which is a nice added feature. At first I thought there might have been an issue because the day of the week appeared in what I believe was Chinese. After taking the time to read the instructions, I realized of you keep turning the dial, it will turn to English, so that ended up being an easy fix. (It shows the day of the week in Chinese then English, then the next day of the week shows in Chinese but keep turning and it will turn to English... And so on and so forth..) The back of the watch is stainless steel and it’s water resistant, which I definitely appreciate living in Washington State where we get plenty of rain. I also liked that the watch arrived with a small plastic tab preventing it from running during transit. Once removed, the watch starts normally, which helps preserve the battery before use. My only minor complaint is that the numbers on the face represent minutes rather than hours. For someone used to digital clocks, this could make telling the time slightly less intuitive at first. Overall, this is a nice-looking watch that feels well made and is priced fairly. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a stylish, versatile timepiece. ... show more

I just bought this watch and it looks great. HOWEVER, they must’ve sent me the Japanese version because the day of the week is in Japanese. Not sure if there is a way to change it to English since the instructions were lacking.

I got this LOUIE JUELEN campus-style couple’s watch (youth labeled), mainly because it looked like a clean, modern everyday piece at a great price point. The listing marks it as youth, but the box and actual sizing make it clear this is more suited to college-age or young adult wearers – definitely not little kids. On my average-to-larger man’s wrist, it fastens comfortably on the second-to-last hole on the adjustable nylon strap, so there’s still some room to spare if your wrists are on the bigger side. It doesn’t feel cramped or like a kid’s watch once it’s on; the face is a decent size and the simple analog dial with day/date window looks sharp and timeless. This watch is... interesting. First off, the packaging and marketing are a bit "sketchy"—they use imagery of Austin Butler that looks clearly unauthorized, which usually isn't a great sign for a brand's longevity. As for the watch itself, it’s a basic quartz movement in a very lightweight, slightly "cheap-feeling" case. The sizing is very small; it’s marketed for youth, but it’s tiny even by those standards. It has a basic 30M water resistance, which means it’s fine for washing your hands but don't take it near a pool. I gave it two stars because it does technically keep time and might work for a kid who just needs a "starter" watch they can lose without you being upset. I got this watch for my 9 year old son who has been wanting one for awhile. He loves it. The color of the band is great and gives it a sporty look. He has no problems getting it on or taking it off and it seems to keep time well (haven't had to adjust it yet). My only complaint is that the day/date setting is difficult to set. You have to be very careful to pull out the dial very gently to find the right spot, and it will not advance the setting if you are close to midnight. While it has the day in both another language and English, you can set it to English and it will advance that way each night. It comes with instructions, but they were too small to read and did not seem to clearly address how to set the day/date setting. ... show more
