I got this because I was looking for fun variety of fabric to make outfits for our Nuimo dolls. Thought I think my creative 5.5 yr old will enjoy designing some as well! I like the variety and quality of the fabric bits. I was interested to see the templates and was confused at first by two but I think they're "shirt" templates? Also one of the skirts I do not understand how the shape is supposed to work itself into a skirt but I haven't tried it so 🤷🏻♀️ I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find the "mesh skirt" mentioned in the directions for a ball gown style dress because it would've been a useful piece to have on the mini mannequin to hold the fabric out to a fuller shape Kit cost $20 in early 2024 ... show more

    • An absolute delight
My 5 year old grand daugther and I jumped right into this project box and it was so mcuh fun. Not difficult at all and she designed several dresses in no time at all. You should have a little sewing kit on the side with sharp needles to make the outfits permanent.

For one thing there is no sewing involved. There are squares of fabric and double sided tape. There are pattern pieces that are unmarked to identify what they are for. And, the instructions simply have pictures of what you could make. Unless you’re going to put anything you make on a doll permanently the kit doesn’t really work since you can only peel away the double sided tape so many times before it stops sticking. The age range for this kit is way off, my very intelligent niece who is 7 was clueless on how to use this or what to do. This would only be useful if you are an adult who sews and could actually sew the outfits and provide more versatile closures for taking the clothes on and off. I’d give this a ZERO star rating if I could. Very disappointed! ... show more
