This was almost fun to put together! The wood is a real wood, with real wood edges, not like the many different types of tables you order and then realize its crappy, fake wood that will bubble or the "wood" will scrape a scratch into it. VERY pleased with it! The fireplace puts off great heat! I cannot wait to use it this winter. The doors are glass, not that plastic crap that's impossible to clean clean without it being hated and streaky. I did stain the edges of the decorative pressed boards on the doors and the back of the stand. I didn't like that it is cardboard looking and, to me, brought down the look of the stand. DEFINITELY happy with my purchase :) the value for the money I paid is incredible. Stands like this cost double what I paid easily! Its nice and heavy... it doesn't feel like its going to eventually break down. The remote is simple to use. And the storage, of course is typical for a TV stand. The drawers are very cute! I took pictures of the before and after pics of the doors with the wood stain I applied to the edges. The look is subtle, but SUCH an improvement! I didn't get the backboard before and after, but that was a must to stain for me! Behind the tv stand its dark. The wood is dark. Then there's cardboard line running along the edges bold and bright. It looks so much better stained.

Love it. Item as described. Assembly time took me about 3 hours. Un sturdy before adding top and bottom boards. I did actually crack a piece of particle board but it’s in a place hidden and kit comes with glue (I’m assuming because of this reason)

The price for such an amazing piece of furniture is just WOW! Excellent quality, equal to many I’ve looked at in stores for $500-$800. Assembly was a little tricky but not bad if you have an extra set of hands to help out! The size is PERFECT below my 70” tv. The drawers and doors open and close with ease and the fire is simply beautiful. The fire esthetic is wonderful and I’m sure the heat output will come in handy for winter.

The fireplace insert adds the perfect cozy touch — it gives off just enough heat to take the chill out of the room, and the glowing effect is super realistic without being over-the-top.
