This formula is high in phosphorus and potassium, two macronutrients critical to encouraging fruit and bloom production. High phosphorus concentration encourages healthy and strong root development. Healthy roots are crucial for producing more flowers or fruit. The best way to prevent insects and disease is to provide your plant the nutrients it needs to grow healthy and strong. Fruit and Bloom delivers. Dilute with water and use a watering can for root application or a sprayer applicator for foliar feed. Compatiable with irrigation systems, too! What is this made out of? This product is a concentrated mixture of many nutrients that are critical to plant health including the main macronutrients of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, but also crucial trace minerals like zinc, iron, calcium and more. What makes this better than competitors' products? Simply put, it’s all in the formula! Our unique blend of nutrients has been perfected by professional agronomists doing field tests. Yes, as long as you dilute the product with water as directed, areas you apply the product to will not pose any harm to kids or pets! I’m a beginner, is this hard to use? No! This is a great place to start if you’re on the beginning of your gardening journey. There's no risk it will harm your plants if you dilute it properly and it’s really easy to use. What is the mixing ratio? 1 teaspoon to two gallons of water Are there any plants that it will harm? Not that we’ve found! It’s a well-rounded formula that will be beneficial to just about anything you’re growing in your garden. Where is it made? All of our products are made in the USA and the majority of our blending and bottling is done in Kentucky! When and how often should it be applied? Designed for the mid-late stages the growth cycle. The timing on this will depend on the plant and your zone / location, but as soon as a plant starts to bud it’s a great time to start applying this formula. Apply every 1-2 weeks through the season. Does it expire? What about once it’s opened? Practically speaking, no. It has a shelf life of 10 years, so if you’re so inclined, feel free to order a decade’s worth today. Opening it will not impact that. How does it help with disease resistance? What can humans do to help prevent getting sick? Eat nutritious foods, minimize stress, etc. It’s the same with plants! When plants aren't getting all the nutrients they need, they are susceptible many diseases and pests. If I use it on fruits and vegetables, will they be safe to eat? Yes absolutely. Everything in our product is from naturally occurring substances that are already present in the soil and being used by your plant. There is nothing in the product that plants (and humans) don’t consume on an everyday basis. Do I spray on my plants or apply to my soil? Either one! This product works great with soil applications or foliar feeding (spraying on a plant’s leaves). If foliar feeding, do so in the early morning or evening, when risk of evaporation is lower. How long does it take to see results? It depends on a lot of factors: type of plant, climate, stage of growth cycle, etc. but we have seen some pretty amazing results literally overnight. However, usually it takes a couple applications before you really start to have noticeable results! What makes liquid fertilizer better than granulars? There are pros and cons to each, however, we are a bit biased towards liquid fertilizers. Liquid plant food has the advantage of being immediately available for plants to utilize. Granulars can take a long time (if ever) to be useable by plants.
