The nylon head is heat resistant to 450 degrees F and safe for use on all cookware, including nonstick. I make my GSP meals every weekend in the Instant Pot and it always has ground beef (Costco or Walmart), frozen veggies, rice, and something like liver, chicken gizzards, ground turkey, bone broth, frozen berries, and misc. veggie odds and ends. I use this to grind my burger meat while cooking (to make tacos, spaghetti, burritos, sloppy joes, etc) It works so very much better than ones I have purchased in the past. It’s all one piece! Never owned a tool like this but after using it a few times I just love it. If you make dishes with ground turkey, sausage, beef, etc., and need to crumble the meat while cooking, this is the tool you need to keep your hands clean and save time.

I watch a lot of youtube cooking videos and saw this gadget being used by one of the cooks. I have not used it yet but have all ideas that it will help to brown hamburger evenly and quicker. I do a lot with hamburger meat so felt it's price was reasonable. I love cooking summer squash with onions and this should do the trick for cooking the squash down the way I like it. Another reviewer mentioned using it to break chicken up for chicken salad or recipes that call for shredded chicken. Now I am getting hungry so got to go thaw that meat!
