This tent held up well to the rain and wind in the UP. I loved how spacious and tall it was. I could stand up fully to get dressed. I loved to outlet pocket for the extension cord and the ceiling storage- we put our lanterns and flashlights up there. The pocket storage was great place to put my phone and glasses right by the side of the bed. There was plenty of ventilation. No leaking when it rained. Quick and easy setup and tear down. I recently purchased the FanttikOutdoor Instant Cabin Tent and I am genuinely impressed with how easy it was to set up. I actually assembled it in my home first just to test it out, and the whole process was smooth and stress free. Breaking it back down and returning it to its original packaging was just as simple, which is not always the case with tents of this size. The interior space is fantastic. I brought it on a camping trip with my two adults and one child, and we had more than enough room to move around comfortably. It did not feel cramped at all, and the cabin style design gives it a roomier feel than a lot of other tents I have used in the past. This was the easiest tent to put up and pull down. Especially since it rained on checkout day at a couple of our camping spots. Kept the rain out well for the most part and was large enough to put a king and full mattress with space to move around freely with two foldable chairs in each corner and a standing fan. This is my honest review after 2 weeks of camping in various weather conditions. The tent is swift to erect and take down. It is a little difficult to roll-up and get back into the carrying bag but not impossible. The tent held up well during windy conditions when a storm with wind gusts moved through. Wind drove some rain against the side of the tent and it did not leak. The bottom of the tent is a heavy waterproof/resistant material that is thicker than the sides, which are typical tent material. The fly is held in place by bungie straps that hook into loops and two sets of velcro straps that wrap around the upper leg. There are also tie outs from the fly to further anchor it. It stayed in place very well. There are windows on all sides including the door panel with zippers to close them for inclement weather or open for ventilation. All zippers worked as intended. There is also an included mesh overhead storage shelf, and an entrance mat (useless in my opinion). The tent was used in the high 50's - mid 30's and did not cause condensation to build up inside. With the proper sleeping bag, is is usable in 3 seasons. Used this tent with a Coleman cot set diagonally (80") long, it just fits. The height of the tent makes it easy to get in and out and to dress inside. Changes or improvements that could be made: Make the flap over the door zipper of stiffer material - when wet it sometimes got caught when zipping the door shut or opening. Use brightly colored stakeout strings for the fly - they are hard to see and easy to trip into. Leave the entrance mat out it doesn't add anything. In all this tent worked very well, saved lots of time getting camp set up, and felt secure in normal and stormy weather. If camping by car and moving from campground to campground not rolling it up but just laying it in the back of the car saves time. ... show more

This would be my fifth tent in my like and it far surpasses any of them. It is erected so quickly. Everything is well thought out. I put a tarp under as the grass was wet. Well it poured. Water pooled everywhere. But the tent was entirely dry inside. Four of us slept comfortably in the eight person tent. I left it empty and outside to dry. Wind banged it all around my yard but it did not break. Taking it down was so easy. And most amazing of all, I got it back into the bag. I can't say enough about this tent and how happy I am with it. As a frequent camper, and an older person, I find that traditional tents are just too difficult and cumbersome to erect nowadays. This tent has the easiest setup ever, and disassembly / stowage is just as simple. The tent is sturdy, roomy enough for 1 person or a friendly couple, and definitely waterproof. I know, because the first time I used it I had three days of rain to test it out. It passed with flying colors - the only issue I noted was a bit of seepage in one corner, and I'm not sure that wasn't from condensation. The tent was stable in the wind, and there's plenty of screened area to allow air flow. I always install a string of lights on my tent when I camp, and this tent has a handy port on one corner to route the cord through. All in all, this was a great purchase and I'm happy with the performance. ... show more
