I recently purchased the FanttikOutdoor Instant Cabin Tent and I am genuinely impressed with how easy it was to set up. As a beginner camper, I explored numerous tent options suitable for both myself and my large dog. My top priority was finding a tent that I could set up on my own. Initially, I purchased a pop-up tent, but I didn't like the low ceiling it offered. I considered buying a Coleman tent, which operates similarly, but it was more expensive than I needed. After finding this tent with great reviews that was also on sale, I decided to give it a try, and I have no regrets about my choice. Here are some key points about my experience: - It is easy to set up (though it took some time the first time I did it). - The tent is very roomy! - While I can't fully stand up inside (I'm 5'6"), it is tall enough for my needs. - The quality seems good and durable. - The windows helped keep us cool at night during hot days (I also used a small fan all night). - Regarding its waterproof capabilities: I camped near the beach on a foggy and misty morning. Just took this camping for a week. Water proof is not how I would describe it, more like water resistant. It rained for 3 days straight and by day 2 the water was starting to seep in the sides and through the rain fly. Not alot but enough to get wet if you rubbed against the wall. Bottom stayed completely dry the whole time despite being on the ground (no tarp between ground and tent). Size was good. I am 5'10" and was almost able to stand up straight in the middle. I was alone so plenty of room for my cot, but could comfortably fit 2 adults. Anymore than that and you are going to be a little cramped. (4 person version of this tent) Setup and breakdown was super fast, maybe 2 minutes for both by myself. ... show more
